After watching The Clone Wars through episode 6 of Season 6, I can honestly say that the Jedi are some of the most dimwitted and oblivious characters there ever were in any TV or Movie series. In my mind they probably rank lower than the stupid characters usually portrayed by Will Farrel and Jack Black (No, I do not watch their movies, but I've seen a sample). I mean, come one, to be taken in with so many deceptions on almost every episode was just too much. They never questioned anything, never investigated anything, never suspected even the most obvious of evidences, it was just crazy. I was about to pull my hair just watching how Dooku and the Chancellor played them at every turn. They could have been fooled with a devious plan involving children, Barbie Dolls, and Lollipops. The whole thing could have gone like this:

Chancellor Palpatine, to the Jedi Council: "Gentlemen, It has come to my attention that there is a plot to kidnap me. Apparently Count Dooku is recruiting cute little girls and their Barbie Dolls and somehow he plans to use them against the Republic. The rumor is that he intends to reward them with loads of Lollipops if the mission is a success."

Yoda: "Troubling, this news is."

Master Windu: "Something must be done fast. We cannot allow any harm to come to the dolls, or the little girls, of course."

Obi-Wan: "I agree, but shouldn't we investigate the Mattel Factory first to see how many dolls they produce a month? That will give us an idea of the size of the plot."

Windu: "The suggestion has it's merits. You could lead the investigating team and head for the factory at once."

Anakin, expressing a little doubt but not really: "But Chancellor, how can this be true? How can little girls pose a threat, and how is Dooku planning to control them?

Yoda: "Underestimate the Dark Side, we should not, Skywalker. Confiscate the dolls, we must."

Master Plo Koon: I will lead a squadron of Clones and begin gathering the dolls while Master Kenobi investigates the Factory."

Anakin: "And what do we do about the Lollipops? Shouldn't we go to every candy store and buy them all before Dooku uses them, and then burn all the lollipops in front of the suspects to teach them a lesson."

Obi-Wan: "Anakin, we must think clearly and make rational decision if we are to stop this plot in its tracks."

Anakin: "I suppose you're right, Master. May the force be with you."

Seriously, it was like that every time the Jedi Council met. Grrrrrr.

Burn. But you are right, the Jedi are pretty stupid when it comes to seeing what the enemy is up to. I think maybe in a roundabout way, that was the point of the show. Season 6 was like, "really? REALLY?! Why would you NOT follow that up?"

I finally finished the Clone Wars. That was a disappointing finale. I guess that it's time to boot up the ol' Star Wars dot com account for rebels.

season 5's or season 6's? Technically, there are two series finales.

I'm still out on wanting to watch Rebels (it doesn't matter anyway because I don't even get the channel). I don't like the animation style. Seems really cartoonish.

Season 6's finale. Season 5's might actually have been a better end for the whole series.

I'm going to watch Rebels just because it's Star Wars. Well, and for Sabine. The series isn't even out and she's already my favorite. That might just be my Mandalorian prejudice, though.

Oh, and I don't know if they'll do this for Rebels, but for the Clone Wars, each episode was available to stream on the Star Wars website for a few weeks after it came out.

Hmm, no telling. The way my internet works, though, it won't work. My internet is a bit slow when streaming video. :/ Since it's Disney I wonder if they will do that. Hopefully so. Disney XD isn't a channel the majority of the population gets.

so...four brand new unfinished episodes of Clone Wars have been put on line on Star Wars.com. It features Anakin and Obi-Wan and even deals with Anakin's feelings of Asoka leaving and whys he is never really mentioned afterwards. The animation is still in an unfinished state but the music, sound effects and voice acting is all top-notch. Watch it with your screen minimized and it's almost like an old radio play.

Any one else read the Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir arc?

I saw that, but I haven't had the time to watch them. I've heard really good things about them!

When do "Rebels" start? I heard it was on the 13 but I already watched most of episode 1. Does anyone know where to watch it legit? Online or not.

It started last Friday, I believe. I don't get Disney XD, and so far I haven't seen episodes posted through Starwars.com, so I don't know how you watch it online. Maybe hulu if you have hulu plus? I have hulu plus. Maybe I should check on that. :p

I believe I get Disney XD but I don't know if it is a premium channel and I have to pay extra. If it is, I won't get it so I'll have to wait for something else. Besides, it's Friday again and I forgot to check it out.

I usually can't watch episodes/videos on their website. Their player is crap.

On another note, the rumor is flying that the Star Wars VII teaser is hitting theaters this weekend in limited areas. But I'm sure YouTube will have multiple versions of the thing. ;)

Yeah, it was announced that it's going to be released online, too. So, why would I go to a theater? It seems that releasing it online simultaneously with the theater release spoils the whole point of the theater release.

I am going to wait and see if it will be attached to the last Hobbit film.

I want to see this thing on the big screen.

I imagine Disney learned from the Age of Ultron disaster; it leaked online after only being released in theaters, so they ended up releasing an official online version afterwards. There would have been even more leaks with this film, so it makes a lot of sense to me that they would reverse their decision and release it online.

Teaser is out.

Tho, apparently there is a rumor that the version posted online is only 1 of 3?

I haven't heard that, but maybe it's 1 of 3 trailers overall? I know we haven't seen the last trailer for this film; and good thing too. I have no idea what the plot of the film even is, just incredibly curious now.
