"I was going to visit a friend who had moved there," she answered. "We had been planning this trip for years, and when I turned sixteen, Mom and Dad told me I could go."
"I hope so too." That noise kept sounding closer and closer to them. Alice glanced backwards again, a bit her lip, forgetting for a second that she had cut it. She winced slightly and kept going.
Rich glanced back towards the sound. "Something aint gonna be happy when it finds it's friends corpse. We gotta get a move on, maybe get outta these vents."
Alice shook her head. "I don't know." She thought back quickly, thinking of everyone that they had seen in the airport. She shook her head again. "I don't know," she repeated softly, still thinking.
Meanwhile, in the food court, the rest of them awaited for Alice and the people that had gone off with her.
Ben: Think they'll find anything?
Me: I hope so...
