*Edmund sounds disappointed* "I just missed Aslan?
*composing himself* The Lady Adilia must be a key to some event in Narnia yet unknown. For Aslan to show himself to give this specific direction it must mean Adilia is needed somehow.
*Thinking* "Very well, Peter, I will make preparations, if that is what we must do." I have in mind who to take with me to aid me in this quest, but please Peter, feel free to suggest the most able Narnians you know."

Not planning to go along, M-P? If not going, maybe you can have a dialogue with Peter when I'm feeling better.

Peter to Edmund: "Bring Kreechikree the She-Mouse for scholarly purposes; and for a bit of fighting power...let's see....You know Horatius, one of our Talking Leopards? He's good in a tight spot, and he'd be glad to get away from the castle for awhile and move around with you. Not that Aslan gave me any impression that anyone was likely to attack you."

++++++++++++++

Now try not to force me to post anything for awhile.

OOC: That was going to be my suggestion. Did you give a first name, Angela?
I also need a centaur's name and a leopard. I will also take with me an eagle or hawk to scout ahead.
And if Mrs. Pevensie comes, we will have to ride horses, as it would not do to have the Ladies walking. I think Edmund's talking horse Phillip would love to come along

"Very well, my Royal Brother, I will bring Kreechikree. Horatio will love to walk again in the woods and plashing glens. I will also bring Stormrider, the centaur, and Highwind, the hawk. Horses for the ladies and Phillip, my horse who is itching for a gallop."

*Peter is about to say something, Edmund stops him*

"I know, I know, Peter. Talking Horses should only be ridden in extreme circumstances, but believe me, Phillip insists."

"I will be leaving at once. I will send swift messanger with regular updates." Be ready to organize some reinforcements at a moment's notice if needed."

*Edmund walks toward the Castle grounds to organize his party and to say his farewells to the Queens and Ladies, and, to tell Adilia the news.*

OOC: Are they already married? We have not discussed this yet. It is up to you.

Sorry, It's OOC, lol: Out of Character.

OOC: Ok, so they are married.
So, the High King, (CF) asked if you were not coming on this quest with Edmund.

Mrs. Pevensie to Edmund: "When can I expect your return?"

"Am I to assume you do not wish to accompany me My Lady, and Faithful Companion? Certainly Lady Adilia would enjoy your company better than mine, but it is your prerogative, or course."

ooc: do you have a first name? It sounds cheek to call you Mrs. Pevensie, seeing that there's also Peter. We could Call you Mrs. Edmund Pevensie if that's what you'll prefer.

"I think it would fit better if I were to stay behind to keep the company of your sisters. I'm sure your quick wit will keep the lady Adilia quite entertained."

OOC: lets say her name is Angela :D

"As you wish Fair Lady. But I tell you plainly, I shall miss our talks, our daily walks, and our meals by the balcony overlooking the bay. When you hear the merfolk singing in the with the sunrise tomorrow, will you think of this poor Knight?"

ooc: Why am I not surprised :D

Managing one more little bit

After awhile, Peter and the secretary-mouse Kreechikree came out, accompanied by Tumnus, two large Talking Dogs and three Dwarfs. Peter was giving these others instructions about distributing copies of the Hermit's letter to far quarters of Narnia. Kreechikee approached Edmund and peeped, "Your Majesty Edmund, the High King desires that I accompany you. I'll be no burden, since I can sleep in a nest of grass and forage for my own food. I'm not trained with weapons as my father and brother are, but I can scout and spy most inconspicuously--not that I expect Your Majesty to need to be lurking and hiding inside your own realm in peacetime."

Peter turned to hunker down beside the She-Mouse. "You don't need to convince him, Kreechikree; I'm sure he'll be happy to have you along." Looking toward Edmund, then: "And I've let Horatius the Leopard know; he's enthusiastic for the outing, just as I expected he'd be. Susan, Lucy, are you going with Edmund?"

Lucy read over Aravis' shoulder and was surprised.
"I'm so sorry Aravis, I know you and he were good friends."

She turned to her brother who had been discussing Edmund's trip.

"I will," said Lucy, "But give me time to get my sword and mare (whos name was Ebony)."

Lucy came back twn minutes later with her silver sword riding on her black mare Ebony. She was glad that Susan decided to come as well, she figured they would need an exelant archer. She turned to Aravis asking if she were to come as well.
