The Chronicles of Narnia: The Restored Kingdom

The Coming Storm:

The Lord Valorim passed through the eastern gate safely. He stopepd sohrtly through the court to catch his breath. Up ahead he could see Trumpkin and rest of the company surrounded by gaurds in heavy arm baring large pikes and spears. Valorim didn't like the look of things, but he had no choice, he couldn't go back. Vlaorim approached the group and as he met them he heard Trumpki naddressing the Captian of the Gaurd. "We are loyal subjects of the King.. we were fleeing from the Imposter and his armies!" Trumpkin flared up in rage and shouted at Captian. "I told you.. I am Trumpkin the Lord Regent!" "Trumpkin seeing the Lord Valorim approaching said "Look there approaching the Lord Valorim.. high Councilor of the King" "He will vouch for us.."

THe Lord Valorim approached the Captian and his gaurd and said "What is the meaning of this? Why are these noble dwarves beeing kept here in this court against their will?" The Captian retorted "All personel that enter through the gates must be checked and varfied as loyal to the King.." The Lord Valorim replied "How long will that take?" The Captian paused and said "It could take sometime.. it is diffcult to ascertian who is friend and who is foe.." Suddenly a voice came from a balcony that said "They are not foes Captian.." Everyone turned their eyes upward. above looking down of them was a young man clothed in a light scale armor. His tunic was blue and upon his dark hair nestled a golden crown.

A look of great releif came over the company. For it was the King. All were sure of this, even those who had met the Imposter. There was such kindess in his face that was beyond explanation. Caspain spoke with soft tone "Captian Asthus.. release them at once.. they are friends" Asthus with a nod bid his men back away from the Company and raise their spears. Caspian then with smile and joyful tone said "Now my good friends.. please come and join me in main court." The Lord Valorim and Trumpkin lead the party through several courts. At last they came to one huge coutyard that was filled with gaurds posted at each enterance. Caspian came quickly down the stair case and embraced both the Lord Valorim and Trumpkin with hug.

Looking at Trumpkin Caspian said "I am so glad to see you are alright old friend.." Trumpkin gave the hint of a smile and replied "I am glad to see your are safe your majesty.. I feared this Imposter was still upon the Throne." Caspian then turned to Valorim. "Lord Valorim.. I had wondered what had become of you.. your Council has been greatly missed of late." Valorim smiled and with bow he replied "My heart is gladden to see you my king.. to know that you are not only safe.. but also once again in charge.." Caspian then greated the Black Dwarves and other Narnians. He thanked and welcomed Glendil for his efforts and his new pledged allegiance. Glendil bowed formally and said gruffly "It was nothing.." "We are just doing are duty"

Caspian then invited them inside for hearty breakfast. After they had had their fill of susasages, fruit, meats, and assorted grains. The Lord Valorim then after taking sip of wine began to tell the King of all the events that had taken place. When he had finished Caspian looked troubled.. but not grim. The news of the Imposter's doings were not pleasant. Adn to hear he had five regements under his command was indeed a reason to be troubled. Caspian was silent for while as he pondered all that had been shared. Finally he arose from his chair and said "Indeed all looks grim.. darkness seems to clouding the lands.." "This Imposter hasn't only wronged me.. but my people.. both Terlmarie and Narnian alike.." "He has poisened their minds and now thrusted them into the heave of battle..

"But.. we mustin lose heart.." "No we must stand firm and do what we must.." "We must stay true in faith that good shall prevail.. and that evil shall pass.." "I too see the sotrm coming.. the ship creaks and rolls on the waves.. but it shall not sink.. no it shall fight the storm and at the end of the day.. when clearing has come.. when sun can be seen again.. it shall sail upon peaceful waters.." As Caspian said this the entire Company inculding Trumpkin and the Lord Valorim sat in awe. The could see the hope that eminated from their king. It was like a beacon in the dark that shined brighter than the sun. It made their hearts rejoice and their faith soar. Caspian conculded. "On this day we shall face the brunt of the storm.. I ask that those of you not fight for me orr this kingdom..""But to fight for the Lion.. to fight for peace and all that is good!"

From the Company came loud cheers and hammering of the table. Caspian looked at them with a smile and said "I am indeed honored to have such loyal friends.. to fight with by my side.." The Lord Valorim raised his glass and said "A toast to are king!" Everyone raised their glasses. "May you face this storm and come out stronger.. may you rule with clearity and grace.. and may you live long life full of happiness.." "Long Live King Caspian!" The Company repreated the same shouting "Long live the King!" Caspian smiled and gave look of embaressment. Afterwards King Caspian, Lord Valorim and Trumpkin retired to the throne room. There they were met by the Lord Drinian, Captain Asthus, The Eight, and many Councilmen.

Caspian had table brough forth and placed in the centre of the room. On it was map and several small pinned flags. Caspian stood at the head of the table adn began explain his defensive streadegy. Several Councilmen interjected with suggestions. Captain Asthus himself made some comments and the Lord Drinian pointed out how some of the suggestions like for example retreating.. wasn't an option. The session of Council continued on as more and more suggestions were made. One was recieved with full excpetance by parties. Caspian nodded his head and said "Yes.. the wemon and children must be led to safety.. along with the elderly.." Caspian ushered a servant to come foward. In his hand he held rolled up parchment.

Caspian rolled it out unto the table. It revealed secret passageways throughout the castle. He pointed to one in paticular that would prove the best for escape. Without delay Caspian ordered the now agreed plan. He had severla gaurds alert the entire castle and have each and ever member: wemon, children, and elderly prepare to leave the castle. As the meeting concluded.. the doors bursted open and soldier heavy of breath said "The.. enemy...has... arrived" This stired the entire company. Caspian thanked the soldier and bid him rejoin the lines. Caspian then ake his place at his throne said with a stern voice "The hour grows late.. we cannot toil any longer with talk.. we must agree on something.." "We must prepare for battle.."

At this the entire company agreed at last. Caspian's stadegy was approved and put into effect imediatly. The entire castle was astir with soldiers getting armed at the battlements.. preparing the cataplats and taking their positions throughout the castle. The wemon, children, and elderly were gathered into a large mass and then lead into the secret passagways. Alas the castle was prepared for the coming battle.. the coming Storm.

A lull in the action

Glenstorm Came thru the lines He paused at near the front of the Castle and motioned for everyone to halt.

"We will halt until we feel the need to charge if Caspian is wanting the women and kids to escape we need to help them to safety.

Starstrom raised her hand halt the firing we don't want to hit any of Caspian's people.

One of the dwarven ladies lowered her bow. We mustn't let this stop my Lady centauress We have to scare the armies enough.

Starstorm: Peace my small dwarf friend we will have these woods to our advantage i am sure some of the People of the Telamarines still don't like these woods.

She heard the massive armies approaching she didn't like this any more then the dwarven lady did but she felt for some reason a brief lull in battle was in order.

"Back under the Rock stay hidden in the rock or in the brush we will stay here until my dad gives me the signal for us to move up to the Castle. He will blow his horn its is his signal" Starstorm said

Storming the Castle:

Like a cloud of shadow the army covered the plains of Burna. They marched on in pale sunlight. Thousands of spears and shining armor glsitened under the sun. At the front of regements rode the calavary and before them the Imposter himself. His armor gleamed in the sun like golden fire. He breathed heavly as he rode up to halfway mark of the plains. He stared at the castle and with movement of his arm the ground began to qauke. Behiend him emerged from the masses of men and creatures large towering stuctures. They were siege towers. Then with another noverbal move of his hand several large cataplats were brought forth.

The field vibrated from the rool of heavy equipment. Caspius peered at the walls and turning to face his army he shouted "Lute the walls come down!" With this order the catapalts were laoded with large bolders. Then with turning of wheel the catapalts bent backward and latched. Then with a pull of switch the boulders hurrled into the air. Like rain the bolders fell upon the walls and inner courts of the castle. Soldiers standing on the walls we struck and flung into the air. Others were crushed were they stood. Repeatdly boulders were launched by the catapalts. The walls shook and trembled. Caspius hissed in his mask as he watched it begin.

The Soldiers within the walls of the castle prepared to fight fire with fire. They set up their catapalts. One while it was being loaded was struck by boulders causing it to colapse into debris and sending soldiers toppling to the ground. At last several catapalts from the castle returned fire. The rubble that flug fro mthe catapalts was from the very walls. The boulders fell upon the army, groups were crushed or sent flying into the air. Caspius with another his shouted "load the Siege towers!" At this command the doors at bottom of the wooden towers were filled with dozens of men. Then approaching from beheind several giants began pushing the towers towards the walls.

Arrows soared from the walls and struck the giants. But they continued to press foward. One boulder from one of castle's cataplats struck one of towers causing it to colapse. The screams of men echoed as the towers crumbled. One of the Calvarymen coming to Caspius' side said "Look one of their gates lays open.." "We should charge and flood their castle with are force!" Caspius drew his arm to stop the Calvarymen from bolt towards the eastern gate. "Fool.. do you not see the snare before thee?" "That is a trap.." "Wait for are friends to open the gates from within.." Caspius then took ahold of his rens with both hands and watched as some of the towers sucessfully reached the walls. Pouring out of the towers the Infanty rushed the gaurds and archers on the wall. The sound of metal clanging was heard throughout the castle.

Blood dripped down the walls of the castle, as men and creature clashed. swords, axes, and every kind of weapon were seen dancing upon the walls and even in the courts. But it wasn't long tell the sieging troops were slain. There numbers were to little, though they brought many down with them. Caspian clad in his armor looked down from his balcony at the horror. Hsi face at last looked grim. The Lord Drinian came to his side in full armor and said "It is time,, my king" Caspian seemed in daze. Drinian nudged him "Come Caspian we must join the ranks.." Caspain startled a bit turned and said "Yes of course.. we msut go and defend are brothers!" Caspain rushed down the steps and at the base he mouted his faithful steed Desteier who had been prepared for him. He rode out towards the eastern gate. Behiend him was several regements of Narnians and Telmarines.

The King and The Imposter Meet:

Caspius caught the sight of Caspian coming out of the gate. Hsi eyes falred and his heart pulseated. He did everything in his strength to hold himself back from charging Caspian himself. THe hate simmered through him and he glared with such intensity that it could be seen even from a distance. Caspain looked upon the Imposter clad in his golden armor. He noticed the helm and gave off an expression of perplexity. Caspian then did something very unwise. He began riding out towards Caspius and the army. Drinia quickly rode to his side and shouted "What are you doing?" Caspian gave no answer. He kept riding on. Drinian again tried to catch his attention "My knig.. why do you deviate from the plan?" Again Caspian didn't answer.

At last Caspius himself rode out to meet Caspian. Several of his calvarymen fallowed. At the middle they met. Caspian clad in bright silver and Caspius in gold. They peered at each other. Caspian spoke first. "I come to offer terms.." "Withdraw your armies and surrender.. and there shall be no more blood shed.." Caspius bellowed a gruf laugh and replied "You are in no position to offer terms.." "I King of Narnia.. have come to take back what is mine.." Caspian fueled by rightious rage responded "You are liar and a deceiver.." "And I shall expose you as the Imposter you really are!" Caspius hissed and said "Why wait?" "Why not settle the dispute now?" At this moment all the rage and hatred was boiling in Caspius. He greatly wished for Caspian to accept his challenge. Caspian regained his composure and replied "No.. I will not risk all to prove my namesake" "That shall have to wait tell another time.." "For now I shall have to be content." "But I will say at the end of this day we shall see who is the true king and who is the Imposter.."

With these words Caspian rode away back to the eastern gate. Drinian fallowed closely behiend. Caspius retreated back to his army fallowed by his calvarymen.

Starstorm: Yes Dad and we came here to assist the King needs us. The woods of Beruna were overran we hid in the Cleft of a large Rock until we heard your horn it was our arrows that launched earlier.

Battle's are ugly afairs

Avalon rode with her head held high, trying not to let it show how scared she truly was at that moment. She reached over and withdrew her father's old sword, rusting at by the hilt and the gold plating was flaking off on the hilt itself. "Caspian!" she along with many others called out as they approached the castle walls cheering their leader's name. She let out a battle cry, a strong cry for a young women. As the battle began Avalon hesitated to involve herself staying further back in the regiment, she began to shake little as the blood trailed down the walls, there was a slight queasiness in her stomach but she forced the feeling away. Avalon rode into a small group of soldiers and fought them from atop her stead, it wasn't long until the horse was cut out from under her. Avalon tumbled to the ground and feared it would be the end for her. But she got to her feet quickly still holding her sword and began to cut down those that came at her. Luckily the troops had been cut to fewer numbers and the remaining retreated. Others around her cheered with victory, while Avalon stood there trying to catch her breath and keeping from throwing up at the same time.

Avalon spotted the impostor amongst the castle army, she quickly glanced over at Caspius. She worried that he would charge right in and finish him off without a second thought even when he came galloping out toward them. Avalon craned her neck to get a better view of Caspius and the impostor. She was relived when Caspius did not make a sudden move. A smile came to her face, breaking through her fear even for a split second. She realized that those who still lived were regrouping she quickly picked up her pace and followed after them. Avalon walked past Caspius and glanced up at him for a second a sad smile flashed across her face.

The Siege From Within:

Meanwhile along the great river the boats had reached the chasm under the castle. There they softly paddled until they were inside a cave. At last they reached rocky ridge that was only furlong away. Instantly two dwarfs leaped out of the boats and swam with ropes in their hands to the edge of ridge. There they climbed up and found wooden posts to tie the ropes to. The dwarves then began pull the ropes causing the boats to draw closer to the ridge edge. At last the assorted group of Telmaries and Narnians used the ropes to climb up the ridge. Quickly the group moved up the darkened tunnel. As they ran up what first was rocky ground and then steps they drawed their weapons. They finally reached the entrance to the tunnel. It was blocked by what looked like a door. One of Telmarine's who was rather strong tried to open it.

However this was pointless for it was barricaded on the other side. The group seemed dismayed and perplexed at what to do. But suddenly a group of Telmarines who had been lagging behind came with grapples. They hooked the large grapples to two lines of rope and lead the company back down the steps. There they all took a line and by the order of one of Telmarine officers they began to pull. In the tunnel you could her the echo of a creaking and the sound of wood spiting. The Telmarine Officer ordered again for them to pull and again with great strength they pulled. The tunnel echoed with the sound of crash. Quickly a small part of the group rushed up the tunnel with drawn blades. As they made thier way up the steps they could see the flickering light of torches.

They poured into the lower level of castle which was storage room. To their surprise there was no guards. After searching most of the storage rooms they proceeded on to the stairs. At the stairs' base the Telmarine ordered that once they reached the next level of castle they would splite up into two groups. One group would open the gates, while the other group dealt with centries. After the entire company was ready they headed up the stairs in single file quietly and slowly. When they reached the inner courts they broke out into formation. Several gaurds who were not at the frontlines saw them and with loud shout they charged. THe large Company of Narnians quickly dealt with them, unleashing arrows and staining their blades with blood.

The Company made their way through several halls slaying anyone who got in their way. at last they came to crossing of halls, in which they had to splite up into two groups. One group headed westerward the other eastward. There mission was above all else to get the main gate open. For the most part the Group that headed westward were met will little resistance. They made it to the west gate were they began to sucessfully open it. However the Group that headed east was hit by the brunt of the castle's forces. In the end six dwarves remained who held at the gate's enterance. Then with great bravery they made for the main gate. One by one they fell, until only one remained. He made his way into a chamber which led to another small room full of gears and swtichs and wheels.

After barong the door shut with knife he began doing what he could to get the main gate open. He flipepd switchs, and with all his strength he turned alarge wheel in the middle of the room. Normallly this would have been impossible for somone his size, but with great determination he at last had the main gate's draw bridge lowered. Now all that remained was for the other company to reach it and turn the wheel at it's base. The Lone dwarf hiding in chamber drew his sword as he heard the wooden door in the other chamber tremble and thunder. In the end he killed two Telmarines and was speared agaisnt the wall. meanwhile the remaning group had made progress and was nearly at the main gate. They moved slowly using their archers to keep the troops at bay.

Finalyl they reached the massive gate were they were met with heavy resistance. Most of the group fending off the soldiers while a slect few went to the wheels on both sides and began turning them. The Iron gate rose and the two massive door behiend it opened slightly. The Castle soldiers rushed the group of Dwarves. Many were slain save three who took turns turnnig the wheels. At last gate was opened and the three dwarves charged the remaining soldiers. Caspius on his steed afar on thep laisn saw as all the army did that the main gate was now open. Unsheathing is pearly white blade he shouted "Foward! and for the Throne!" Suddenly Caspius vbolted foward on his steed towards the main gate. Calvarymen rushed in pursiut behiend him. The Infantry and archers fallowed at a brisk pace.

Among them there was line of buff men who held a large battering ram. Caspius with his calvary crossed the main bridge and poured into the castle. Caspius swung his sword wildly striking the nearby foot soldiers and sending a spray of blood into the air. Him and calvary overrun the gaurd and held the main gate. At last the Infanty in single file began to cross the bridge. They were under heavy arrow fire from the walls. Many fell upon the stony bridge and did not rise again. Alas Caspius and his army had made it into the outer courts of castle. The Battle now roared in the halls of the castle. Caspian and the main army held waiting further in the inner courts. They lined the etire primiter with archer and foot soldiers clad in heavy armor.

Caspain could hear the roar of the soldiers in the outer courts. Unsheathing Rhindron he said with soft but grm tone "They have entered the castle.. men.. friends.. prepare to defend yourselves" At his word the soldiers huddled closer together preparing to defend their King and each other.

Battle of the Halls:

Caspian stood with the Lord Drinian and fellw comrades holding his the hilt of sword tightly. The echoes of the battle at the main gate began to grow loauder, until at last a horde of Telmarines and Narnians could be seen pouring the court. Caspian holding his sword in foward motion shouted "Archers! make ready!" A line of archers stepped out from behiend Caspian and his line of soldiers. They pulled from their quiver red feathered arrows and strung them to thier bows. The enemy horde was rushing towards them liek tidal wave and thundering with battlecries. Caspian holding his sword firm said "Hold.." The Archer held the arrows on their string and pulled the string backward. "Hold!" At last the army was within range and Caspian shouted "Fire!"

Dozens of arrows soared into the air like birds and then laded amongst the enemy horde. Many enemy Telmarine and even Narnians fell to the grow moaning and groaning. Caspian shouted for a volley and once again the arrows soared over head and struck the enemy horde. Then Caspian gripepd his sword firmly and said as he moved foward at brisk pace "Charge!" The Lord Drinian shouted in confirmation of the King's order "Charge!" and he too bolted foward. The soldiers with resounding battlecry stode foward. Within seconds the two armies clashed and the clattering of steel began to echo through the halls. Caspian broke into fury, slicing an enemy Telmarine across the belly and then stiking another to his left side under the arm. He thne spun around and slashed a nerby enemy Faun across the face.

When he did this nearly stopped and froze. He looked upon the dead faun and nearly weeped. Drinian came to his side and stuck a nearby enemy Telmarine in the side. Drinian shook Caspian and said "My King.. you must rejoin the battle.." Caspian startled turned to Drinian. Seeing Telmarine charge behiend his friend, Caspian knocked Drinian aside and then thrusted his blade into the Telmarine's torso. Caspian then turned and looked at Drinian with gleam in his eye. Drinian nodded as if he knew what the King thought. Suddenly the two went into frezy, cutting through the horde beside thier comrades.

Amongst the soldiers were the knights. Sir Godfrey and Balin both engaged the enemy soldiers. They fought remarkable well, slaying many. However in the who experiance they seemed a little jozzled and prehapes mystified. They had never fought a battle nro kileld anyone before. But they did nto hault, for they swore an oath to protect their King. Fighting Valiantly amongat the other knights was Reepicheep and Mice Kinghts. They had been leaping from enemy to enmy slitting their thoats and cutting them from udnerneath. Reepicheep leapt unto enemy Narnian faun. Holding his blade to his kneck he said "As a taitor you should die.. traiterious death.." With those words he began to prepare his blade to give a final blow. "But I have orders.." Reepicheep leapt off the faun and from behiend the faun was knocked over the head by a club.

The court and the halls within began to fill with bodies and blood. Caspian and his men mirculiously didn't suffer many losses. They slayed many until the court and halls were empty. Caspian stood over the bodies of his fallen foes. At first he wept over the fallen Narnians. But then he turned, whipped away his tears and shouted a resounding battlecry. The knights and soldiers alike rose their weapons high and shouted in the same likeness.

Starstorm and the Archers

Starstorm Came up with the Archers from her dad's and her Army came up behind her She watched the archers string there bows she measured how her shots should be and how far and how strong she would need to strike the arrow.

"Fire Again everyone For Narnia"

The Archers aimed for the Towers Where they were to stop them from maneuvering any farther. Starstroms group aimed for the Horses and the calvary.

Glenstorm moved forward slashing thru the lines of Caspious Army Slashing and took one telmariene soldier slashed his legs from under him and beheaded him.

Starstrom moved her shots to where the catapults were They won't take this castle. If i have anything to say about it.

The Wrath of Caspius:

Caspius with his gaurd rushed through the first court and slayed each and ever soldier that he could reach with his blade. Haulting on his steed he peered into the further court, there he saw the bodies of his comrades. His eyes flared red with anger and his face grew paler. The hatred boiling in his viens began to churn and swell until he could not contain it anymore. He charged foward with his calvarymen and bursted through the ranks of the enemy. He crushed and trambled many under his steed's hoovers. He swung his blade that had been dipped in blood at his' foes. With clean and malice strokes he behead a faun and many other enemies.

One Minotaur who had been knocking Caspius' troops asunder began to make for Caspius himself. He charged glistening white in the sunlight. Using his mace he swung and his the steed. Caspius soared and fell to the stony ground. Caspius arose in rage turning with his hands gripping his sword firmly. THe Minotaur rushed him and with loud cry he swung his mace many fold. Caspius defend parrying and countering the blows. Finally Caspius strucke the Minotaur under the torso near his waist. The Minotaur bellowed in pain. Caspius looked at the beast with unwavering gleeful eyes and vile smile. But this was soon put asunder for Minotaur grabbed Caspius' arms and pulled the blade out of his waist. Then the minotaur head butted Caspius back knocking him against a wall.

Caspius' countance was now changed. He did not look terrible and full of malice. He looked rather afriad and somewhat jozzeled (from the blow no doubt). the Minotaur rushed him with all his might. Caspius dodged, causing the Mintaur to crash into the wall. Hsi horns got stuck in the thick stone wall. Caspius seeing his sowrd not far away rushed to grab it from the floor. Then with a newfound hatred he thrusted foward striking the Minotaur in the back. As Caspius drew his blade from the hide of the minotaur he smiled with sense of acheivement. However this was an early celebration, for the Minotaur broke free from the wall and rsuhed him. Caspius with look of utter surpise stood there lifeless. With a gasp he said "Impossible.."

The Minoraur bellowed as it prepared to clash with Caspius. Caspius regained his composure and held in blocking stance. Hsi eyes once again flared like fire. Then suddenly Caspius leapt foward and sliced the Minotaur across the neck as the two fell to the floor like crumblnig pillars. Caspius laid now with the heavy beast on him. Lifting the beast aside he stood and looked upon it. With swift stoek he stabbed it again twice in the chest. Once sure it was indeed dead he rejoined his company and began slaying more of Caspian's army. It wasn't tell he made his way to halsl that Caspius noticed the sheer numbers of hsi enemy. He turned to look at his comrades and saw that very few stood with him.

A Telmarine Lord came to Caspius side and said "My King.. it would be wise if we retreated to the field and awaited rienforcments.." Caspius hissed and replied "No.. we must press on and finish them!" The Telmarine Lord peresisted to preasuade Caspius. "But.. my king.. if we don't fall back now and regroup we shall prerish!" Caspius now fought himself. The rage of revenge that boilied inside made him want to thrsut foward and ignore his litienute's wishes. But his logical mind overuled his rage at last. He finally with great stife and struggle was able to gain control and lower his sword. Hsi eyes returned to normal and he turned to his Litenute and said "Very well.. we shall return to the field and regroup as you have requested.." The Lintenute sighed with releif and ordered the remaining troops to retreat.

Caspius stood for a moment staring at the army in the distance. He saw among them his true foe.. the one he seeked to destroy.. Caspian.

Glenstorm's Speech

Glenstorm holds his soldiers at bay. He wondered what caspious could be thinking. What his next move will be or if victory is near or will there be a second wave of troops.

"This man has murder in his eye my freinds and even though we will be killing fellow Narninians it has to be with honer centaurs we don't go down without fight. Whether tis means death or dying as long as it along the Side of the True King Caspian and its the will of Lion we will fight for a free Narnia from Tyranny under a tyrant as fierce as who we faught before. We might have to prove ourselves to Aslan again but we can hope he will show up he gave us weapons and strength to fight. We will fight for a free Narnia.

Starstrom listened to her dad's speech what she could hear from her post on the Castle wall.

She Fired a burst of three Arrows and motioned for the others to shoot the bow. She ran down into the soldiers and fired at them hitting 10 or 15 on there helmets and in there armor.

As a Centaur she can run fast and returned back up to the wall. Firing more Red feathered arrows at the soldiers striking there helmets and there horses slowing them down.

She also fired at the other Soldiers in the towers and in the catapults. If she was going to die she was going down boldly and in a fight she would settled for nothing less. She was raised as a warrior. She will die as a warrior.

The Enemy Regroups:

Caspius after giving Caspian a cold dead stare turned and fallowed his litenute. Caspius mouted his white steed again and trotted off with his calvarymen. They came riding out of the main gate overlooking the small masses of his remaining army. Behiend Caspian's sodliers stood on the walls continuing to unleash arrows. Several almost hit Caspius. Caspius pulled to the front of the ranks and held their for while. Suddenlya thunder was heard and the ground beyond to shake. Caspius' eyes turned from their normal shade back to vile shade of red. There was grotesue smile on his face as he looked upon the castle's main gate. For just then a horde of Caspian's army poured out holding the gate. Leading them was the Lord Valorim.

He looked Caspius and his small army with releif. However his releif quickly faded when he felt the earth under him shake and tremble. Valorim then heard the loud rustling of armor and loud horn from the south. On the horizion appeared many black figures and shapes. At first it was impossible to make them out until finally they passed the first strech of wood. Valorim gasped as he saw a massive army of men, dwarves, fauns, satrys and even a centaur or two. Valorim's troops were paralized with fear as they gazed upon the massive approaching army. The final regments of Caspius' army joined up at the rear of the rest. Now like sea stood Caspius army awaiting for his orders.

Caspius raised his sword once again and shouted "Charge!" With the order Caspius bolted foward on his steed, his Clavarymen fallowed, and pulling up the rear was the massive force of the infanty. Valorim in terror shouted "Retreat!" "Retreat to the halls!" Valorim turned his horse and bolted back into the main courts. His troops fallowed suite, but many were slain as they ran in prusuit of the Lord Valorim. Caspius and his Calvary swept through them, trambling most under hoof and dispatching the rest with their swords. Valorim made his way to the Halls of the castle and passed through the broad and large doorway. With shout he said ""Close the doors!" Obeying his word many strong Narnians (mainly Minotaurs) ran to the doors and attempted to shut them.

But it was too late, several arrows passed through the opening and stuck those closing the gates. Valorim now haulting shouted "Retreat to next hallway!" THe small horde of remaining allied Narnians and Telmarines began to flee while Valorim remained steady and unmoved. A centaur and Minotaur stopped next to him and stay at his side. Valorim urged them to flee, but they responded "We shall nto leave thy lordship.." Now began Valorim heroic and self sacrifical deed. He had made up his mind he would not leave ahead of his troops again. Already twice had he allowed the men under his command to die protecting him. Now he had decided to risk his own life for his men.

Brandishing his sword Valorim shouted as the enemy entered the hallway. "For Narnia! and the True King!" Bolting foward Valorim and his two companions cut into the calvary and dismouted many. The centaur and Minotaur pushed passed the Calvary and moved towards the Infantry. Valorim haulted at beyond the doors. He quickly dismouted and did something very brave. He put aside his sword and began with own strength to close the doors. THe viens in his amrs began strain and his face turned red from the struggled. The Minotaur turned to see him and his attempted adn rushed to his aid. Together they began to close the doors while the Centaur held the Infanty at bay. The Centaur using his pike stabed the stone and did cartwheel motion in the air striking many of the enemy soldiers in the head.

However he was quickly slain, when he fell upon dozens of spears. Arroes hurrled from enemy litering the doors. The Minotaur was pinned against the doors and with his last bit of strength he push it closed. Valorim stood alone facing the Infantry. Emeging from them was Caspius himself who eyed the Lord Valorim with a profound hatred. Caspius ordered the Infantry to a hault. He then encouraged his steed to move foward. Stopping just little distance from Valorim he dismouted. Brandishing his white blade stained with blood Caspius appoached Valorim. "At last I shall be rid of you myself.." spouted Caspius. Valorim "I knew that day.. when I confronted you before the counsel that you were not the King.." "I could see it in your eyes.." Caspius chuckled and said "You were right to question me.. however it is the man you serve who is the real Imposter.." "He is the one who took the throne from the rightful king and now he shall suffer for it!"

The Duel:

Valorim held his sword ready and said "If I die today.. it is in the service of the true king.." "My concience shall be clear and I shall look to east with my last breath.. in hopes of seeing glmpse of the eastern sea.." Caspius hissed and said "Make ready!" Valorim moved into stance. Caspius then with swift and strong blow began the duel. The two blades gleamed under the sun and they hissed and rang with each clash. Valorim did well at first keeping Caspius at bay. But soon Caspius bursted into frenzy of attacks that cause Valorim to back against the doors. Alas Caspius drew first blood. He slashed Valorim under the left arm pit were the armor was weak. Valorim gripped his sword with one hand and put his right hand over the wound. Caspius eyes gleamed like fire as he looked at now wounded Valorim.

Valorim suddenly holding nothing back went into frezy of powerfu lattacks. This caught Caspius of gaurd, causing him to be pressed against his own soldiers. The two held in lock up and Valorim with swift move of his left hand slugged Caspius across the face drawing blood from his forehead. Caspius laid upon the ground Valorim towering above him. Then with a unkown fury Caspius rose to his feet and lunged foward with his sword erect. Valorim dodged and prepared to stike Caspius from behiend, but his blade was stopped by Caspius. Caspius had turned in time to block and breaknig free from lock up he attacked Valorim with newfound strength. Caspius struck Valorim a second time, this time on the helm, causing it roll of Valorim's head.

Valorim jozzled and a bit dizzy cried "Respite!" Caspius not heading his word struck Valorim in the chest. The blade passed through his armor.. cracking it and pierceing his skin. As Caspius withdrew the blade from Valorim's body, he held to his kneck for Valorim had fallen to his kness. Valorim held his hand over his wound and began looking to the eastern sky. He seemed to see something that no one else could. A Lion floating upon air coming towards him. He began to smile as he turned his gaze towards Caspius. caspius looked into his eyes and odd sense of fear came upon him. He was puzled by Valorim's look. He seemed happy.. happy to die. Caspius lowered his sword and lute Valorim fall backward unto his back. Caspius watched as the light faded from his eyes, until alas Lord Valorim Loyal Servant of King Caspain X passed from Narnia forever.

Caspius lowered his eyes in respect and ordered that Valorim not be dishonored in anyway. He ordered two stout Telmarine men to lift him adn carry him out of the way. Caspius then turned his attention back to the doors. He called forth a giant named Nimbleweather to open the doors. After few tries, the Giant finally kciked the doord with enough force to open them. Caspius now full of his former rage rode on leading Infantry inward.

Suprises

Starstorm looked out from her vantage point near the high tower. She saw the stars and the moons from the tower it was a lovely night. As a centaur she noticed the night sky more. She saw torches and flames lighting the night. She saw to regiments flying the standard of CAspious their armor polished and ready the flames of the torches making it look even shiner and eerier "That can't be there are two more regiments coming."

She fired a few more arrows at the oncoming others outside the castle with the flaming tips. The archers strung there bows and tightened them in anticipation and cleaned them off Its not to good to try to shoot the arrows at night unless they are flaming.

One of the fauns Sumnus with Arrows in his back quiver had his bow drawn still and cleaning it "My Lady Centaur what do you mean"

Look Sumnus there is two regiments bearing a standard simler to Miraz see those torches in the distance."

Sumnous looked at Starstorm "I thought we had this battle one we need to warn the king."

"I will go down and warn them Sumnus take command why i am down there."

Glenstorm saw his daughter coming down the back steps

"Nice shooting there STarstorm what is wrong?"

"We need to find Caspian father Caspiuos has to other regiments heading this way."

"Starstorm don't cry wolf on me. I raised you better then that this battle is nearly over victory is near"

"Come up on the high tower and look dad I am telling you they are coming they are very near. Just trust me, where is the king? Take me to him"

Glenstorm first let me see with myself did anyone else see them?"

"Sumnus the faun that was by my side up there he saw them too."

Glenstorm ran up the steps behind his daugher and followed her to the tower"

"Look Dad there they are You shouldn't doubt me father i would not lie or steer you wrong you didn't belive me."

Glenstorm looked at Sumnus " DId you see them to Sumnus?"

"Yes I did Glenstorm she showed them to me as soon as she saw them"

"Sumnus FIre as soon as they are in Arrow Range i am going to talk to the king. "

"Yes My Lady"

Starstorm nodded "Arrows to the strings everyone fire as soon as they are in Range."

Brothers in the Heat of Battle:

Within one of sqaures of the caste two of the Eight, Sir Godfrey and Sir Balin had been cut off from the King and their fellow knights. They were now battling side by side at the eastern gate. Piles of bodies surrounded them as thhey back to back combated th enemy. Godfrey with blunt move struck Telmarine in the gut and then finished him by striking his helm. Balin tried to keep his distance from the troops, backing agaisnt the wall and fire volley of arrows. As Godfrey wildly rushed the enmey soldiers, Balin covered his back. As Godfrey began fighting a Telmarine Captian, Balin unleashed volley after volley of arrows. Soldiers colapsed behiend and infront of Godfrey, having red feathered arrows sticking out of them.

At last Balin had to revert to melee combat. He unsheathed short sowrd and began slicing and cutting throguh burrage of enemy troops. He swung his blade with great skill and speed. It passed through the weak parts of the soldiers' armor like straw or butter. Godfrey continued to duel the Captain, using an array of strong blows. the Captian however only mocked and beat backed Godfrey laughing. He swung his braod sword with great strength almsot lopping Godfrey's head clean off several times. Godfrey broke away and came back with great resolved. He picked up an enemy scrimtar and began attacking the Captain full force. He swung the two blades in cross like motion causing the Captain to step back.

Godfrey then made contact with the Captian's blade. the steel baldes ringed like bell as they clashed repeatidly. Godfrey like if in a dance spun around and kicked the Captain against a nearby wall. With the scrimtar he stabbed the Captain's arm pinning him to the wall. Then gripping with both hands Godfrey swung his longsword with all his might. The Blade cutted deep into the Captian's armor wouding him greatly. Godfrey then grabbing the Captian's neck prepared to finish him, but when he looked into the frightened eyes of the Captian he began to feel pity and display mercy he lute go and began to walk way. The Captian however did not repay Godfrey with kindness or thanks, instead he rose up and removed the scrimitar preparing to strike Godfrey in the back. As he rushed to do so, he was struck by an arrow in the neck/ Haulting in chock he looked at the archer from afar. Balin held his bow and glared at the Captian who now fell to his knees and then backward.

Godfrey looked at Balin and then turned around and saw the fallen Captian. He turned back to Balin and said "Thank you little brother.." Balin smiled and chuckled "It looks as if you need my protection more than I need yours..brother" Just then Godfrey lunged foward at Balin and stuck a soldier preparing to stike him. Godfrey removing his blade from corpse said with smile "Prehapes.. little brother you spoke too soon.." Balin looked a little imbarised and nodded with huff. Godfrey putting his arm on Balin's shoulder said "Remember the first rule of sword fighting.. never take your eyes off your opponet or opponets.. especially during a battle" "Not for anything.." Balin rolled his eyes at this, he hated being lectured espeically from his brother. But regardless Balin heeded his brother's warning and the two rejoined the battle.

Godfrey and Balin eventually made their way to halls with the rest of the Company. Infact they had just passed the main doors when Caspius and his regments had returned through the main gate and were on their way to the halls themselves. Godfrey and Balin rejoined the Eight which had been the Six without them. Now they waited with the Company and their King. Waiting for the enemy to breach the doors and engage them once more.

Encounter: Father and Daughter

Meanwhile....

Avalon had her own problems and battles to worry about. She remained in the courtyard with other soldiers fighting against the imposter's army. With every attempt on her life made by the enemy made Avalon fight harder. This wasn't where it was going to end, she had always dreamed of being a great warrior someday and this was her chance. But something tugged at her heartstrings in the back of her mind every time she finished off an opposing Telmarine or even Narnian. She pushed this feeling aside and continued to make her way through the courtyard toward the Castle itself. Avalon had become more immune to the death and blood around her since the start of the battle, every now and then she would feel sick to her stomach but didn't allow the feeling to overtake her.

As time and the battle went on Avalon began to tire greatly and her performance started to fail. She decided it was time to get away from the major battle and ran for another part of the Castle with a few Telmarine's following her. Luckily two were shot down by arrows, but that just left one on Avalon's tail. Avalon dodged arrows and slashes from two on two battles as she passed them by. After a few minutes Avalon found herself starring at a familiar sight, a familiar tree. It was the same one that Aslan used to create the door in the air. She stopped running and starred at it, the place around her was empty except a few fallen soldiers. Avalon tired to steady her breathing. Standing there Avalon almost expected something to happen, like the tree to open up again and Aslan to come running through. Or something worse, her dream to come true and open to a sight of two Caspians one dead and the other beckoning her to come forward.

The Telmarine solider that was following her caught up with her he walked closer, her back turned to him. Avalon held her breath, and in those few moments she heard chain mail and heavy breathing. She whipped around just in time as the Telmarine soldier attacked. She parried the first attack and just completely dodged the second one. The two fought for a minute, he was clearly the more capable. Their swords clashed again and they held eachother in place for several long moments, "Avalon?"

Avalon relaxed her vision and focused on the face a face that she had known her entire life. "Dad?" she lowered her sword and he his. They looked at one another for a minute before he dropped his sword and ran to hug his daughter. Avalon stood there and let him hug her for a long time not returning it, eventually she let her sword fall and wrapped her arms around her father. "You're mother and I have been so worried." he said still holding her tightly. He pushed away and looked down at her with a smile, but she looked up at him with concern.

"You're on the impostors side, aren't you? You've been fooled by him too." she said. Her father, Ashion, furrowed his brow and shook his head slowly.

"No. You've been with the impostor this entire time. Lenia has told me what you've--"

But Avalon didn't want to here this she backed away from her father, "Lenia? I knew it! Both of you have been tricked. You're wrong. Caspian wouldn't lie to me, I've spent the past couple days with him. He's smart, kind, and honest. There isn't a single possible way he could be the impostor!"

"Just because you've spent a few days with someone doesn't mean you can truly know who they are!"

Avalon reached down and picked up her sword and firmly grasped it. She didn't mean to attack her father, no she never could no matter what it came down to. But she couldn't stand here and listen to this any longer. "I know that he is the King. And when we've found the impostor, I'm going to prove to you that you all were wrong." she ran from the court and headed for the castle door.

"Avalon wait, please!"

Starstorm on the Serch for Caspian

Starstorm made her way across the Ledge she was lucky she always had a good head for heights or she would be flipping out right now. She fired a few Arrows down to get clear.

She made her way down the back steps and a urgent Gait. Searching left and right trying to be sure she finds the true king and not the imposter.

She saw the door at the bottom she entered in and saw a group of soliders near the main gate. She saw Caspian standing near the back where she came out. She walked over to him "King Caspian your majesty," She drew her sword and bowed. "Sire I Bring Grave news"

A Disagreement and Bad News:

Caspius and his army poured into the halls like a rushing river. Their swords and armor bristled against the walls at they moved into separate lines. Now in formation they marched deeper in. On the other end of the long hallway was Caspian and the Lord Drinian. Caspian and Drinian were having disagreement. "But my king.. I highly suggest you heed my word and retreat to the throne room.." Said Drinian. Caspian shook his head and replied "No.. I will not forsake my men and leave them to face the coming darkness alone.." Drinian argued once more with Caspian. "My king.. you must retreat.. you are no good to your men dead.." Caspain retorted "This discussion is over.. I have made my decision.." Drinian sighed and replied "Very well. your majesty.. I shall obey your decision.."

Just then the sound of clattering hooves was heard from behiend. Caspian and most of the Company turned around and saw a young centauress standing before them. Caspian recognized it was Starstorm at once. After she had spoken Caspian replied grimly "Grave news?" "Please tell me at once.." Caspian then lended his ear to Starstorm as she began explaining. The Lord Drinain stood beside Caspian listening as well, while the Company whispered amongst themselves and tried to keep their eyes and ears foward. The Hall began to shake and rattle. The Company began to shake as they heard the jingling of metal down the hall and sounds of foot steps.

In the Castle

Avalon made her way successfully into the castle, after fighting her way through of course. She didn't want to believe her father's words. But would he really lie to her, Avalon trusted his word the most above anyone else. So why was she so unwilling to listen to his reasoning on this matter? Standing in the great hall Avalon could hear voices echoing throughout the entire castle but she couldn't make out any specific ones. She had to find Caspian and that was her only goal at the moment.

Running through the Castle trying to make sense of everything she kept going back to her father's words Just because you've spent a few days with someone doesn't mean you can truly know who they are! With every step her father's voice grew louder and louder until it was screaming in her head. She started to panic a little when she kept coming to dead ends or ending up right back where she started. "Caspian!" Avalon decided to start calling for him maybe she would be able to find him that way. "Caspian!"

Finally after turning down a small corridor she entered what she believed were the main halls. How she missed these before she had no idea, then again her sense of direction was always bad. Down the hallway toward the end she could make out a group of soldiers, one she recognized as Caspian, even though it was in all reality Caspius. She sighed relieved but at the same time very apprehensive. In the back of her mind she worried that her father may have been right. However there was some other emotion that clouded her entire judgement and shoved her father's reasoning aside.
