That must have taken you hours! Did you just forum-search "waldo" and start compiling it?

(And didn't Lieke write a history of Waldo somewhere, that was considerable shorter than yours? I think it's actually somewhere in this thread.

EDIT: I looked... you've both written entries of Waldo before... none of them as exhaustive as the most recent, however. :D)

I did?? The only thing i've written about him was the thing MF quoted i think :rolleyes: (YAY, friend!!:D) but not as long and definitely not as good as the last one. And i believe MF wrote a song about him... Wasn't it in corrupt a wish?

Wait never mind, that was about Sturdinae :D

EDIT: and i wrote a bit of an entry for rolleyes in general, and so did MF, maybe that's what you meant?

yep. it all started in the secret thread (the last couple quotes), when people started the whole waldo=murdering psychopath and waldo=fishie thing, and then it all kind of happened...

and i just looked on the first page of the encyclopedia and there was no link to a waldo entry, so it's all your fault i had to go through all this labour (jk)!

yeah. i believe missing an invisible letter is the only instance i've ever seen oly angry. using four of those :mad: my, my.

the invisible text entry was somewhat overdue, too... thanks, lava!

edit: oops. found the rolleyes smileys entries. lieke even wrote a whole history for waldo... my previous entry was more about the smiley. the whole waldo thing started later, i think.

I did not write a history for Waldo. I wrote a history for the rolleyes smiley (on a '25-ways-to-reply-to-someone-killing-the-thread'), and it was quite short, it wasn't named Waldo untill later in the proces. So your Waldo entry is completely appropriate, and can coexist next to the rolleyes entries :p
 
*thinks* No, I don't think it's possible. Because when you highlight text, it shows up the opposite color for contrast against the highlighting color, but smileys are images. So unless images reverse color when you highligh them (which they don't) it doesn't work.
