"I'm not Mr. Weirdo. My name is Dr. Quack. Didn't I tell you already. Your not death are you? Hmm...I'm sure you did something when you were five that could have triggered your power. You really don't believe that your powers are magical or anything do you?"

He rolled his eyes, "I dont care what they are, I'm glad I have them, now scoot," he lightly shocked the doctor.
 
He waited to see if another big wave would come but then he thought about it and decided to try it with smaller waves first. His first attempts at moving huge quantities of water were not very impressive. The ocean currents and moods would not yield to him. Whatever he tried, the surf did something different. After a while, he just stopped and dove into the deepest part of and began swimming away from the beach.
 
He swam past the breakwaters and when he was around 150 yards from the shore, he just laid there, on the water, with his arms hands behind her head as if he was sleeping on his bed. Everything was calm here. Only the cries of a few seagulls in by the beach interrupted the sound of the waves crashing. He closed his eyes and began to listen.
 
"Your don't have hearing problems? Then why on earth did you mistake my name for Dr. Weirdo? Dr. Weirdo, is my rival doctor whom as multiple times tried to vandalize my expirements. But don't worry, one day I'll catch him! He'll be sorry! By the way, tommorrow I'm taking blood samples of everyone, so you'll need to be in my room by... 10 in the morining. Is that too early or too late?"

" Because you driving me nuts! now leave us alone!," she told him, still hitting her head on the table " Alex get him out of here I need to eat not with him!," she told him, making a huge water ball.
 
" Then I'll do it," she told him, getting up making a huge wave " It won't hute you alex but it might hurt him," she told him, with a smirk.
 
Dr. Quack gave a sigh. "Such behavior is not acceptable. I think I'll report you to Aasen. I thought you were all suppossed to be good young people and Elloni's chosen. Ha! Just shows how even brillaint scientists like me, i'm so awsome, can still make mistakes. Well I take my leave...for now. "

With that Dr. Quack left the room.
 
For a long time nothing happened. But then he began to noticed some things. First, the sound of the seagulls stopped. Then, even the crashing of the waves stopped. For a moment everything seemed to have stopped, even the movement of the ocean. The silence was unnatural, but welcomed.
 
Unfortuantly the silence peace Arcturus was expirencing near the ocean was interrupted by Dr. Quack.

"WELL ACRTURUS YOU WOULDNT BELIEVE THE RUDNESS OF THAT GIRL!!! I just try to help and she throws insults and confuses me with mY RIVAL!!! UNEXCEPTABLE!!! Well what are you doing?"
 
Fortunately, Arcturus did not hear anything because he was now over the 150 yards from shore as where he originally was because the current had carried him farther out to sea. But the sea appeared to be speaking to him. From somewhere deep down in his soul, a small sound was heard. A clear voice, but very faint spoke to him,

Son of water...

"Hey," Aasen said as he entered Leila's room. Nearly shambled it was a mess, but she had made it better than it was.

"Hey," she answered back, laying on her bed.

"Um who is that name you were calling out? Alida?"

"A story for another time."

"Please tell me." He urged as he sat next to her on the bed.

She sighed, "When I was 16, I was taken advantaged of. Dont worry the creep was killed but...I had a daughter from it. One night, she was three, she had a fever and didn't make it through the night," tears started to fill her eyes, but she fought them back, "I figured I'd see her in the after life, and I nearly did. Then Arcturus had to save me."

"I made him do it."

"I figured as much."

He held her and kissed her forehead, "You'll see her again, when the time is right. I'm sorry you had to live through all of that. I can't imagine what it was like."

"Invasion is a funny thing to have to live through, but time heals most wounds. I guess that's why I feared ever being with anybody," she took his hand, "until now."
 
Arcturus was sure someone was calling him, but the voice was not human. He had heard the voice before but, where?
