Arcturus saw the creature vanish and his anger turned into pain and despair. He had just beginning to feel that his life had a meaning, a "destiny," a future, and now the one who had brought meaning to him laid there, still alive, but barely.

Destiny fealt the fire inside her dimming,cooling. She tried to move again but failed so she just lie still. She could atleast do that,that and stay alive.

No, he said, Rapidan is just as fast, then he gently placed Destiny on his horse and mounted.
"We must hurry!!" He told the others. "We must! Now! Move!" His anguish was making him a little selfish, but he could not think about anything else right now than the welfare of this beautiful Princess he had been lucky to find.

)Leila made a face, and saw when he took off that his horse was fast, but not as fast as Beusephalis.
"They just dont make war horses like they do in the south," she said aloud, and mounted her horse, letting him canter in a relaxed fashion.
In his heart he thanked Leila for her help and he glanced behind him and saw that Leila was falling behind fast. He did not understand why she was just cantering along. She knew they had to make it to the castle.
"Maybe she wants to make sure that shadow or whatever does not come back after Destiny," he thought.

Acela, used her powers to see everything around them, she lead the way, and they came up to a guard, next to the gate. "Sir, we need help, please let us in.........."she asked in a sweet, persuasive voice. He opened the gate for them, she raced inside the gate on her horse.

Leila entered after everyone else. Immediatly this castle seemed like home to her. With the marble floors and the brass walls, she knew she'd feel right at home. But before she could take her bath, she felt it was her duty to check on Destiny.

The Storyline:
All characters received a supernatural call or summon. Each one was called in a different way (they were all awesome summons, if you care to go back and read them). Each one was told, or felt the urge to travel to the Kingdom of Alastair, to the Great City of Cross, which is at the ocean’s edge and very far from their homes.
No character knew that others were called, and each one is slowly finding out that others are traveling in response to similar calls or impulse to travel. They still don’t know why. The storyline supposes they are going to have to unite and combine their powers to defeat some evil, but that has not been revealed to them yet.
This is what has happened so far:
All characters found each other (except Kate) and are in the City of Cross.
After their first meal, they found out that they need to go meet the King, King Mizar, and they will learn about their calls from him.
All the characters, except Kate who is MIA for now, are going towards the Castle of High King Mizar of Alastair, in the center of the city of Cross. On the way there, Arcturus and Destiny hooked up with each other since Arcturus practically fell in love with Destiny the first time he saw her.
As they were traveling together a little bit away from the others, some shadow materialized and immediately went after Destiny. Both Leila and Arcturus helped Destiny and the shadow disappear after Leila used her full power on it. However, Destiny is now unconscious and Arcturus is rushing her toward the Castle of King Mizar. They expect to get help there.
BarbarianKing will play King Mizar until we find someone else who wants to play it.
And that’s were the story is right now.

Arcturus was carrying Destiny as he walked in. Several pages came over to help, two of them pushed away the extra pillows on a crimson sofa and motioned to Arcturus to lay her there. Arcturus softly laid Destiny on the sofa, put a pillow under her head, and stared at her beautiful face. Her eyes were closed, but she was breathing, even with some difficulty.
A Lord walked in and said, "My Lord, may I inquire as to who are you, and your companions?"
"Hi, yes," said Arcturus rapidly. "I am Arcturus Rain from West Lariat, and these ladies here are my companions, Acela Ladden, Her Royal Highness Queen, Leila, from the Southern Desert, Princess Sienna, from West Kingdom..."
And so Arcturus introduced everyone. The Lord bowed to each of the ladies in turn and called for more pages and Ladies-in-waiting to assist to the ladies.
"And this, said Arcturus," kneeling at Destiny's side, "is Destiny Rose, Princess from the Fire Kingdom, but she has been wounded. I ask your Lordship for any assistance from His Majesty King Mizar."
"Yes, of course, Master Arcturus," he said, "His Majesty the King will be here presently. In the meantime," and here he turned to Arcturus companions: "your royal Highness's all will have accommodations worthy of your persons."

Sienna was worried for Destiny. She watched her lay on the sofa, un-moving. Sienna shook her head and looked at the page and thanked him quietly. Quickly after, a few ladies in waiting rushed through the hall. Sienna saw one beginning to pick up her bags. Sienna asked if she could lay them in her room and she would be up shortly.
She looked over at Arcturus and Destiny. She walked over and knelt down next to her friend.
"Are you going to be alright? And maybe another question, will she be alright?" Sienna asked Arcturus with an encouraging smile

Destiny fealt herself being placed on something cousiony[sp?]. She heard Arcturus speak as well as voices she didn't know. She no longer tried to wake up. she knew she couldn't. She just let her mind rest and thought about the past few days.
The whisper on her balcony, the friendliness Flame showed not only in letting her leave, but in sending her Fury. She thought about the ocean and how amazing it was....and Arcturus. She thought about the man. His kind words, the way his dark eyes sparkled when he smiled,the way his laugh made her blush.
Rain his power and his last name. She thought of that as well. She was Princess of Fire and he was water. Two opposites they were. But she had feelings for him she had never had for any other person before. Not even Flame.

Sienna smiled and rose. She saw the nurse had waited for her. Sienna took a few of her bags and followed the nurse to her room. It was beautiful, the buttery-yellow walls shone against the candles lit. The windows showed the small lights of the city below with a small breeze coming in the room.
"I thank you very much." Sienna said quietly as she sat on the bed taking off her shoes.
"Would your majesty like me to run some hot water in the bath tub?" the nurse said with a slight accent - Sienna couldnt quite make out the accent though.
"Oh yes please!" she said relieved.
