She saw the castle, but was sadden to see how long it would still take to get there.
"Great," she said out loud, "well looks like you two will get VERY well aquainted," she said to Arcturius and Destiny, "we still have to go through the stinkin gates and path ways. I'll never get my bath!" she started to curse.
 
OOC: well, ok, but remember that this King we are supposed to see is a good King who treats everyone with respect and does not tolerate standoffishness. You are playing your character really well, but will she tone down or sort of "learn to behave" later?
After all, the being who called us is an Aslan-like being, who loves everyone but who does give consequences to selfish and mean people, but also shows mercy and compassion, just like Aslan would.

So maybe you can make your character to struggle between doing what's right and selfless or continue in with her "hard" ways.

(THE REASON WHY WE NEED TO MAKE THIS MORE NARNIA-LIKE AND ASLAN-LIKE IS THAT IF WE DON'T, THE MODS WILL LOCK THE THREAD)

(ooc yes yes, I know. consider her the Eustace Clarence Scrubb/Jill Pole of this story. And when she's with the King, you wont reconize her!:eek:)

BC: Destiny muttered a word to Fury and the horse troted. She saw the castle when they were a few miles away. THe huge magnigicent building sparkled in the sunlight.

Leila pouted, and let everyone know her discomfort.
"This is ridiculus!"
 
Arcturus already understood the language of Destiny's eyes and followed her.

"Is your Castle something like that?" He asked her.
 
Destiny tilted her head sideways...."Not really. I wish it was. It's...darker a I guess you could say. A river of fire flows beside of it." She explained.
 
Out of the corner of his eye, Arcturus saw a shadow materialized to their right, close to Destiny. He looked around and there was a water fountain nearby, and he began to reach for water.

His horse and Destiny's began to whine and scream in terror. He saw Destiny's hands begin to glow....
 
Leila turned around to see something near the others. Immidatly her plasma flared and she cantered Beusephalis toward the creature...
 
Arcturus knew this was not a good thing, a shadow suddenly materializing.

He was in the process of turning a pail of water into Ice, and shaping another pailful into a powerful whip. Destiny's barely had time to make some fire.
 
Jumping off of Beusephalis, Leila rushed to the shadow that had engulfed Destiny. She let one of her plasma flairs burst through the creature. Leila suddenly saw Destiny's hand, and continued to blast the creature until it would let her go.
 
Arcturus turned towards Destiny and noticed that she was struggling against this shadow. Suddenly, the fire in her hands died and she stopped moving.

"NO! DESTINY!" He shouted in agony, and made the water whip hit the shadow with force. He was afraid to use the ice for fear it would hurt Destiny. He immediately dismounted.

Leila was already attacking this shadow with her own powers.
 
The creature seemed to take the life out of Destiny. Leila's power was not really helping. She would need something else, that something she feared.
With a large jump, she plummeted the ground in front of the creature, punching the ground so that it rippled like water. Her strength caused rock and root to come up from the ground. The creature fell.
 
Arcturus meanwhile ran to Destiny and gently caught her as she fell of her horse. He saw Leila holding her own against the shadow so he knew he was free to pull Destiny to a safe distance.

She was so beautiful, and Arcturus felt almost weak but happy to hold her in his arms. This of course is what he wished most to do, but not in this situation.

"Destiny! Destiny! Are you ok?"

He thought he saw her trying to talk.

"Destiny, please tell me you are ok!"

He began to feel angry towards this shadow.
 
Destiny tried to answer Arcturus as she heard him call her but she couldn't. She then fell unconcious...[sp?}

The shadow tried to fight back, trying to do to her as it did to Destiny. Having fought too many wars, Leila was not about to let herself be taken. She jumped high into the air and landed on the shadow creature as her body was engulfed in plasma flames. She let out a large burst and the creature disapated.
