Oh, I didn't know this thread existed, or I would have posted here first upon returning after my 2-year absence from TDL. I had to leave for various reasons, but I am back now. Yay! :D

Wow, a second month member, that's just plain cool:D I think i've seen you around, but never got to know you, so: hello, welcome back, i'm Lieke and i sure hope to see you more often :)

I'm not going to be completely gone.....Just not going to be on as much as I used to. I kinda have some friends around to hang out with and play on a few other sites with.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm glad I'm back, too. I think I saw you said on a different thread that you were homeschooled for a while? I was, too. It's always fun to meet another homeschooler. :D

Thanks! :) Yeah, I guess you could say I'm one of the "originals," LOL. I'm pretty sure I remember you from when I was here before. Thanks for the welcome.

By the way, could anyone help me with a problem I am having? You know how when we post on a thread it says by our name how many posts we've done? Well, mine says 79, but when I click on my username and click "show all posts" it finds 300+ posts! So, obviously my post count is inaccurate. Anyone know how to fix that? (Please tell me, too, if I should post this question on a different thread.)

Yup, I was homeschooled for a while. :D I sorta wish I still was, teehee.

About your posts... the reason it says you only have 79 posts is probably because posts in the Duffers and Tea with Mr. Tumnus sections don't count. :rolleyes:
 
Oh, but the cake is a ´return-soon´ present for you, we´ll be eating Pie (mPlf) and ice cream while you´re... i mean, we´ll be waiting for your return:D Btw, the cake isn´t poisoned and will not turn you into a green being...

So, you´re going back to Germany then? That´ll be a change i can imagine. Good luck with the move, and we´ll miss you!! :)
 
To be more specific; yep, I have decided to leave TDL for a while. There are so many reasons but the main reason is my own rest. As I wrote a while ago my mom is not in a very good condition. She seems to have mental health problems and she has to undergo tests. Partly it's because I left home a while ago and my mom must learn how to pick up her own life and the other part is yet unknown. She is seeing the psychiatrist and only time can tell what is going on. Imagine you live on your own....work most of the times and as soon as you are finished working you must go to your mom's house, check on her, then go home and enjoy the tiny bit of freetime left. Imagine the telephone rings 98% of the time and it's your mom with all ridiculous questions. Imagine your mom is doing the same at your work! I have not even a tiny bit of rest and that's why I'm exhausted and snap way too often for no reason at all (my anger problem is I can't hold my anger. I explode as soon as I get angry)
So I decided to be more inactive here to get my health back.
I'm only active at the mario RPG Jeff created. I hope you understand and I wish you all the best.
 
I understand Vanessa I will miss you though It has to be stressful trying to take care of your own place and your mom I can understand So i hope to see you on facebook or My Space or Yahoo. KEep in touch vanessa i will miss you and be praying for you as well.

Hey guys! I'm going to be gone from the forum for a while. I need to take a long long break. Things in real life have popped up and my attention needs to be on that right now, instead of the computer. Love you guys!

I'm going to be a bit more off now since my classes have restarted last Monday. I plan to keep visiting the forum on weekends, but I'm not going to be quite updated. ;) Still, I hope I can keep being part of the forum.
