The Lord of the Rings- J.R.R. Tolkien

This afternoon, I was at an end-of-season party with my basketball team. We were playing Apples to Apples, and I told a girl that if there were any LotR cards to put them down for me; I would choose them regardless whether they corresponded with the green apple card.

"What if it was, like, Princess Leia or something down for..."

"PRINCESS LEIA!?" I exploded. "She's from STAR WARS!" xD
 
Today in Language class we were doing grammar with subjects & predicates so our teacher made it fun for us.
We used LOTR to make sample sentances:

"Sauron the successor of Morgoth forged the One Ring in the fires of Mordor."
"Bilbo, Frodo, Pippin and Merry live in the Shire (teacher: "would like to live in the Shire, want to go back to the Shire." xD)."
"Handsome Aragorn and scruffy Strider are the same person."

ect.

And this poor girl in my class had never seen/read LOTR so she had no idea what we were talking about. I described Mordor as, "A place with a giant volcano" xD

Yes! You should! There are only like 23 people in the high-school and only about 40sum in the whole school (note- I don't know if that's counting the pre-schoolers or not, there are a bunch of them!) :D
I love my school.:D There are 3 people in my grade. And we acted out Romeo and Juliet with 4 people (including the teacher). xD

And when it was Sept. my language teacher wrote what day was Bilbo and Frodo's birthday. And I think she wrote when the publication of either LOTR or the Hobbit was... not sure which.:D
 
No, I just meant the dates in the back of the book. I write them on my calendar to celebrate them.

Ah, I see... I just look on my language teacher's whiteboard.:p

Yup. Two weeks at the begining of the school year (because you never know when the first snow is gonna fall around here :rolleyes:). We switch what sort of game we play in gym every two weeks so if you hate one you don't have to suffer through it for too long.
 
Hmmm I decided to complete my LOTR action figure collection. I only need like 7 figures to complete it and I'm a Ringer for life anyway. Non other world can defeat Middle-Earth to me
