The Lord of the Rings- J.R.R. Tolkien

I love love love LOTR Middle earth and Narnia are huge parts of my childhood and as a Kiwi to see my country become the setting for them was beyond amazing.:D

AWESOME! I love quoting LotR at random times. :D Once I was rummaging through the fridge and was like, "I found a bit of spongecake!" My mom gave me a weird look. ;)

Another time, my mom, my older sister, and I were shopping at the mall for clothes. My mom kept looking around that department for clothes for my sister, even though it was obvious none of it was modest or appealing.
"Why do we linger here when there is no hope?" I asked.
"Well, I'm hoping FOR hope. Shopping for your sister is like pulling teeth!"
"You're supposed to do Arwen's line," my sister said. "There is still hope!"

Another time, I was at my youth group, and some girls that don't like me walked by. "Have you seen So and So?" they asked.
"Look for your friends, but do not trust to hope, for it has forsaken these lands," I said. Oh, man, you guys should have seen the looks on their faces!! :D *dies laughing*

That I would like to have seen.:D

On monday we read Sir Phillip Sydney's poems in class. One began with "Fly, fly away.." My teacher said it was a great beginning to the poem. I interjected and said It reminds me of Gandalf when he is bested by the Belrog and falls at the Bridge of Khazadum. "Fly you fools!" I got quite a few chuckles from my fellow classmates. :)

Jeff!! Hilarious!! And for me my LOTR mood is still there. It will never die. I recently start to quote funny quotes from the movie ,like "late as usual" and "Small chance of succes, certainty of death, what are we waiting for" at busy days at work :D

Ive continued to make references to LOTR in my Brit Lit class. :)

In other news I have still yet to complete LOTR: Aragorn's Quest. I'm still at Helm`s Deep. XD I've been too preoccupied with Halo Reach. :)

I'm going to buy the Aragorn's quest game so I can play it. And maybe this weekend I will have my LOTR marathon again :D

I had begun to question why I ever pruchased the Nintendo Wii, but then Aragorn's Quest was released and those doubts faded away. :D

A LOTR Marathon eh? I had one not too long ago with my lady friend. Alas I should have another one soon, prehaps I shall attempt to watch the entire extended edition trilogy in one sitting. XD

I thought I would post this humorous comic strip. :D

Sauron: I see.. you.. agh not pepper! It burnsss! XD
