The Lord of the Rings- J.R.R. Tolkien

A few years ago I was in a mall, and I walked by a store that sold swords. I saw one that i thought resembled Hadhafang, Arwen's sword, and I think I was right. I think the shop sold replicas of swords from movies, but I didn't go in.

I didn't even want to know what the price was.

LOL! Sometimes, I have to look at the price, just to convince myself that I don't want it. :p

If I had to buy a piece of LotR merchandise, I think I'd buy Evenstar. I wouldn't wear it though; I'd have it framed.
I think I would buy the Evenstar too. A sword would be cool, but you can buy just any replica sword for less; it doesn't have to be LotR.

Did you see Jeff's comment about what he would do with the Evenstar? :) If you haven't, it's on the previous page or the one before that.

I never cared for the swords to be honest. I'm more into action figures. And the REAL One Ring was a symbol of evil but fortunately the One Ring doesn't exist. I never became evil or invisible while wearing it ;)

I can already see you Nessa, caressing the ring with your hand, your eyes fixed upon it and your mouth uttering "My precious.." XD

I mentioned this in my group, but I thought I would post it here too. Peter Jackson has been hospitalized for poriferated ulcer. He's suppose to have surgery on it and will need time to recovery before he can begin filming The Hobbit. I've commited to lift him up in prayer, I ask that anyone willing would join me.

My brother told me this today. I hope and pray for a full recovery. Now the cast is falling into place right now I really hope they can start the Hobbit anytime soon. But NOT without Peter!

I was a fan of LoTR before I was a fan of Narnia. But I like them both a ton. I don't know which I like better. Probably right now Narnia, but I'd go for both.
