The Lord of the Rings- J.R.R. Tolkien

I got a better idea :D Just read the Hobbit out of your head in fast forward mode. Just tell the beginning and the end and skip everything in the middle :D

How often does this happen? I mean a couple of years ago my brother was searching for the LOTR FOTR EE and the stores had all the others except for that one. And when he finally go it the stores were selling copies

LOL. I want to re-read the whole series since it's been several years since I've read them (It's been close to 8 since I read Hobbit).

Oh my gosh. When I was trying to find the regular editions at Wal-Mart, I had all but TTT. Every stinking Wal-Mart store I went to didn't have ANY of the two disc editions! I finally found it, but only after my dad bought the limited edition of TTT (which I've only watched once). Don't know why, bu they always have them when you don't want them, and then are out of them when you DO want them!

Well, Lord of the Rings lost one of its own: swordmaster Bob Anderson, responsible for choreographing/designing many of the swordfights in the movies, died at the age of 89. http://www.imdb.com/news/ni20436275/ He was also in the Darth Vader costume in the original Star Wars (1977)

Bob will certainly be missed. He brought an authenticity to some of greatest films in past century. Truly a legend has been lost, may he rest in peace. :(

I read that yes. He also played in SW. He was a great swordsfighter. He will be missed.

AK, how often does this happen??? It happens all the time!! When you want something the stores don 't have it but if you don't look for it they sell it by thousands so to speak  I must say I like TTT more now after watching it a couple of times

It's called Murphy's Law: you can be looking for something and it seems you will never find it and when you are no longer looking it is in plain sight. :D

I've heard Gorthaur has ceased making rings, there just isn't a market like there was in the Second Age. He's content to just hang out at Baradur and call forth armies for his amusement. :D

True! And I also heard Feanor secretly sold his receipt to make Silmarillen to the Dwarves so they could start to light up Moria a bit :D

Feanor was always trying to get rich quick. Hence why he created the Silmarils, he knew everyone would be bespelled by them and have to have one. The problem is he only had time to make three and he couldn't part with any of them. You see they were mock ups and not for sale. :D
