I havent posted her in awhile!
My uncle was reading "Eragon" and he only got to chapter 3 or 4,
then he thought it was boring and quit reading it!
I told him "Wow, You gave that book a chance. The good parts come later!"
He said he would wait until the movie.
I cant stress this point enough,
READ THE BOOK BEFORE WATCHING MOVIE VERSION!
You may know what will happen,
But it will be more thrilling when what you read actually happens!
It gives you a deeper since of pride.
Those are just my thoughts.

Hmm..my favourite part? Umm..I have a few actually.. I like the battle with Durza, and I like the whole Varden/Test part...yes, and I lovet he Roran Stronghammer and the Village in Eldest, and also in Eldest, the whole..umm....elves, training with Oromis and all. ANd the fight with Murtagh!
 
I just read Eragon and Eldest, and for someone who is picky about sci-fi (me) it must have been pretty good because I recommend it! They are very in depth, which I like, and VERY exciting. I'd like to see the movie in December, but I don't know if my family wants to go. My bros and parents are iffy about magic and stuff.
 
i feel like i need an eragon banner now. just a shame the picture i want to use is off of youtube and the quality is even worse because the person videotapped the real trailer so there's this big whopping glare on the picture lol

i have a question about zar'roc's ruby. for the movie it looked blue, is that just because its altered for the movie poster or did they go and change it? just curious
 
Since the blade is red-they put it to blue i beleive-just because someone said something along the lines of..not all red-it looks nice this way too though.

Oh and Fox said that the trailer that some people recorded in a theatre wasnt the official trailer- so we still yet have to wait for the trailer.

Thats funny because the author is still writing it and no news has been said of the release- but it will be a while yet till the third book comes out. A newsletter from Christopher on a eragon/eldest fansite stated he still has a long way to go.
 
He is still writing it so it wont be out for a while-books take some time to be published and everything.
And yes i think everyone knows about the third book-i think its cool that it is supposedly a green dragon:):)
