The Voyage of the Dawn Treader Trailer World Premiere

To everyone saying how fake everything looks: remember that the film is still in post-production. It's very possible that they did enough CGI work to pass for a trailer and will go back and touch up rough spots. The only reason Aslan looked somewhat unreal in the mirror is because it was a reflection. I didn't see a whole lot of difference in his animation than from the first two...except that he was a little smaller, but we didn't see him very much so it's hard to tell just how big he is. Remember, animation DOES have limits, and animation is probably the most time-consuming part of these films.

And the most expensive. That's one reason why it's coming out in December; it gives them time to do post production. And just to mention, Peter jackson didn't get Return of the King out until about 2 days before the Wellington, NZ world premiere in 2003. Talk about late. ;)

i loved the trailer:D.

and of course it looked kinda funny. they are in the crazier parts of narnia's world. i love how bright and colorful it is. and as previously said they have been in post production for a while so it'll probably look even better:D

as for Edmund I don't think he'll turn out like Peter at all. He's learnt his lesson and i think he just wants a little more respect in his world.

That is all:)
p.s. i'm sooooo excited:D

Some of ya'll have been talking about the white witch in the trailer, What me and Aslans Messenger were discussing was that maybe she is in the land where dreams come true, Edmund might be seeing her in a dream of his or something like that.

That happened to me the first time I saw it! I can't believe they are making us wait till dec. 10th!
On a side note, wasn't Toy Story 3 good?!

I'm -hopefully- going to see Toy Story 3 in just over an hour. I've heard many great things about it, and the first two were so well done. Funny how Toy Story was created back in 1995 and is still popular. Hopefully Narnia will be the same :) And it will, if I have anything to do with it!

Indeed, Toy Story is Pixar's Legacy, it is there Star Wars. I know that you shall enjoy and simply love Toy Story 3. As for your sentiments about Narnia, I certainly hope so too. :)

I did enjoy Toy Story 3 very much! It doesn't take away anything from the other two. It wasn't boring or monotonous. I didn't go away thinking "Wow, I wish they hadn't added *that* part" or anything. It was good!

Just had to skip quickly through the last few posts just in case. Don't post any spoilers on Toy Story 3 as it hasn't come out in England yet and I don't want it to be spoiled for me. :)

(Sure there's another post for it elsewhere, anyway?)

I went to the theater last week and didn't even remember there was a Narnia trailer. I took a couple of kids to see Last Airbender and never once thought of VODT or even Toy Story (yuck!). That's how much faith I have in the movie makers regarding Narnia: Zilch!!!

I haven't seen Toy Story 3 yet! I really want to. I had to go see Eclipse, because someone I know wanted to see it, and I was really surprised to see both the Narnia and Harry Potter trailers before it. I absouletly loved seeing both trailers on the big screen. The Twilight Saga is an ok book series, but a lot of it is written to sloppy and the ending to the series could've been better.

Narnia and Harry Potter will reign surpreme over the Twilight Saga any day.

A friend of mine said that there is another Twilight book in the making. I don't know if this is true or not. I'm not a twilight fan, but I thought maybe some people here would like to know that there might be another one sometime!

There was going to be another one, unless Stephanie Meyer decided to put it back up. It was Midnight Sun I believe where it's the Twilight book from Edward's perspective. But, sadly some chapters got leaked online so Stephanie Meyer decided not to finish the book. But, maybe she decided to after all. I never read any of those leaked chapters because I never knew about Midnight Sun. Sorry off topic but I wanted to clarify the new book but thanks for the info.

When you say 'leaked' do you mean some chapters were stolen and published online?
Does the new director for VODT plan to make the Silver chair also?
