Suddenly he let her go as James flew into him throwing him over a newspaper despencer.

Lizzy jumped up and stood there. She was terrified, and still incredibly embarrased. She couldnt move.

the guy was up but he took off running down the street. James walked over to Lizzy and took her by the arms, "are you ok?"

She flinched at his touch. "I'm fine." She said backing up from him. "Um thanks, I'll see you later." She said. "Maybe." She said under her breathnot expecting him to hear. She turned and headed towards home.

"Hey I don't think so," he said taking her by the arm, "Im taking you to get checked up and don't you think for a second after that that I am going to let you walk home alone."

"I dunno, depends on how many brain cells i have left," she said.

Jasmin nodded and tried to stand up but promptly fell back laughing, "ok I think I'm officially waisted."

"What you've only had one and a half," she said smirking.

"Wrong," Jasmin said as she crawled over to her on all fours, "I've had nearly five."

"Ok thats a little better," she said downing the rest of hers.

"yah and on top of that add a few martinies...yah I had a bad day," she said colapsing onto the floor in the midle of the room and rolling onto her back

"See I'm trying to quit, otherwise id probs be kite high by now," she said, absentmindedly stroking her forearm.

"Ah," Jasmin made a motion with her hand, "Quiting is for...quiters but also losers." she said with a smile and then started laughing

"Yeah well as great as my life is, I quite like to be alive," she said still feeling the familiar small scars around her crease in her elbow.

Jasmin crained her neck around so she could see her frined looking quite rediculouse in the attempt, "Ah....I don't get it."

"What dont you get?" she asked.

"why would not quiting kill you?" she asked, "I mean I didn't quit and still breathing."

"Yeah well I was on alot, like way too much, i dont rember much of the last year of my life," she said sighing.

"Still don't get it but then again, I'm drunk," she said rolling over and crawling the rest of the distance. she reached into her pocket and pulled out a little white paper that was rolled up like a tube, "you want to really have some fun?" she asked

"Well mabye smoking it would be better then needleing it?" she said thoughtfully.
