From information of daily press you could estimate that Tisá where the film about Narnia is beeing shooted is surrounded by a cordon of guards and so the journalists are unlucky. It is both truth and lie. Our newspaper Usteck weekly can show off with something special, you can see the cast and people around from the strictly guarded area. “We proclaimed you to be a cuckoo of the year”, I was praised by a colleague when I phoned to him from the centre of shooting on Tuesday afternoon.
Thanks to the unique sand rocks and local backgroung Andrew Adamson chose Tisá. There is now lying under 0,5 metre of snow and the film makers had to trench along to the place of shooting. At this place a tree with roots turned up was put up there as well as a cave where one of the main character faun Tumnus lives.
The small village is literally crowded with the film staff which lives in the local hotels and boarding houses. Some inhabitants are restricted a little bit but at the same time they are proud. “Adamson was said to be astonished by the background, especially by the view from the top of the rocks. Allegedly it is not the last film he makes here,” says one of the locals.
