If you’ve only seen The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe once, take the trip to the theatre to see it again, before it leaves theatres. The best part about seeing it now, is that there will be few others in the theatre, so you can relax and enjoy it, without someone kicking your seat, or someone’s cellphone going off.
I also believe that this film ages well. The more I’ve seen it, the more I’ve gotten used to this world, having grown up in the worlds of the animated version and the BBC version of Narnia. I’ve gotten over my own pre-conceived ideas of how it “should be,” as I did with The Lord of the Rings, and allowed myself into this version of the story, as told by this creator.
Last night during American Idol, there was a new “go see it again” trailer on TV.
In case you missed it, LWW just cracked the top 25 grossing movies all time at #25 last weekend and is hot on the heels of Harry Potter.
