2019 Narnia and C.S. Lewis Theatre

Narnia Fans have a lot to look forward to in C.S. Lewis theatre this year. Academy of the Arts is following their exceptional Prince Caspian play with the premiere of The Horse and His Boy in March. Last year this same theatre hosted a performance of An Evening with C.S. Lewis by David Payne which will be continuing in a national tour. Fellowship for the Performing Arts which has previously produced C.S. Lewis productions of The Great Divorce and Shadowlands has launched national tours of C.S. The Horse and His Boy

For the first time in the USA, His Boy is being brought to the stage in a production that will play exclusively at the Logos Theatre in Greensville, South Carolina. This new show is made by the same team that created the extraordinary stage play of Prince Caspian. This show is set apart by the genuine passion that the team has for The Chronicles of Narnia and the show itself has been financed by donations from Narnia Fans around the world.

An Evening with C.S. Lewis: My Life’s Journey

Last year the Logos Theatre where The Horse and His Boy will premiere hosted a performance of David Payne’s An Evening with C.S. Lewis. This one man stage show is set as if you are part of a group of American Journalists being entertained in C.S. Lewis’s home during the 1960s. Topics of conversation include his friendship with J.R.R. Tolkien and the development of The Chronicles of Narnia.

C.S. Lewis Onstage: The Most Reluctant Convert National Tour

How did Narnia’s author C.S. Lewis journey from adamant atheist to Christian apologist? NarniaFans.com has reviewed this show with four out of five shields for a wonderful job bringing C.S. The Screwtape Letters National Tour

Did the devil make you do it? C.S. Lewis wrote The Screwtape Letters as a series of letters from an elder demon about how to better control a human’s behavior. This book has been masterfully adapted into a dramatic presentation that is critically acclaimed worldwide. During a previous national tour Narnia Fans interviewed The Screwtape Letters creative director and original cast Max McLean. Now this sensational show is returning for a national tour staring Brent Harris as Screwtape.

  1. Apologies first of all for being so slow to respond to a past news posting concerning Netflix and Narnia movies. This Narnia website has changed enormously in recent times. Will any future Narnia films actually be going through an Odeon cinema release? Such as The Silver Chair for example. It costs a great deal of money and time trying to keep up with all the entertainment providers these days compared with only 10 years ago.
