A new series that was recently revealed to be in the works is Netflix’s upcoming Chronicles of Narnia spin-off, The Telmarine (working title). As a reminder, and for those who missed the announcement, it’s a ten-episode series that are each one hour in length. Young Prince Caspian is paired up with a character we call Baby Reepicheep on adventures through parts of Narnia we’ve never seen in the films, some of which were only mentioned in the pages of the books by name.
We’ve managed to get our hands on some concept art that was leaked to us by someone working at Netflix. The images we were given are concept art for a younger version of Reepicheep who will be a puppet in the show, much like the character Grogu in the Star Wars series The Mandalorian. Featuring state-of-the-art puppets designed by the Jim Henson Company, we’ll get to see Reepicheep like never before. What’s interesting about the art is the variety of items he is wearing or wielding. That gave us a few thoughts, not to mention the color of his fur. First, he doesn’t yet have the rapier that he fights with, nor does he have the feather he wears. This is a mouse who is working toward becoming the mouse we all know and love from the books.
