Chronicles of Narnia Exhibition to Open at The Franklin in Philadelphia in November

“The Chronicles of Narnia: The Exhibition” will make its East Coast debut at The Franklin in Philadelphia on November 28, 2008, one of the biggest family weekends of the year. Based on the blockbuster film series and C.S. Lewis’ beloved fictional books, the 10,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art entertainment and educational exhibition will offer visitors the opportunity to tour scenes from the famed literary fantasy world of Narnia. Through authentic costumes, props and set dressings from the magical Narnia films, visitors will enter three-dimensional settings that combine the wonders of science with aspects of fantasy.

Hands on Science Field trip and Narnia Exhibit!

I had the opportunity of visiting the Narnia Exhibition a few months ago. While I’ve not had the opportunity to write about it yet (sorry, folks!), someone else has. I will say this, though. It’s every bit as exciting as you’d expect, and even more so. It’s a wonderful experience, and when it comes to a city near you, make the trip to see it. It’s truly beautiful.

Interview with Max McLean and his role in “Screwtape”

It would be very hard to think about playing the devil in a play. In “The Screwtape Letters” which began showing in Washington, D.C. on April 17th and ran through May 18th, Max McLean played the lead character from the C.S. Lewis’ book with the same title. Mr. McLean sat down with The Christian Post and chatted about how he felt about playing a devil and what he thinks is the most common temptation in society today.

“The Chronicles of Narnia: The Exhibition,” a state-of-the-art entertainment and educational exhibition based on the blockbuster film series and C.S. Lewis’ beloved fictional books, will premiere June 7, 2008, at Arizona Science Center. The excitement of the story adored by all generations is now being brought to life with an exhibition that will offer visitors the opportunity to view authentic costumes, props and set dressings from the films portraying the famed literary fantasy world of Narnia. Coinciding with the opening of the new film, “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian,” the 10,000-square-foot educational exhibition will escort guests of all ages on a learning tour of myth, magic and adventure.

Narnia Night at Asbury College Update

Will Sears e-mailed us to help inform you all of something important. Unfortunately, Disney has informed us that the super-trailer will not be finished in time for Narnia Night at Asbury College on April 24, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. Guests are certainly still in for a treat with presentations from Narnia experts, the special Narnia exhibit preview from Clayton Ferguson, and other surprises!
