    K, looks like the original Hebrew Bible didn't have 'em, and they were added later (and they are slightly newer). Also, Protestants don't believe in Purgatory, so some of the teachings in the books goes against what they've been taught.

    Well, they seem to be the same, but you guys have extra books stuck on the end of the OT. Like a tail. lol
    But yeah, the protestants I know think that means you're adding to the Bible and therefore sinning.

    Ah, 'cause I've read the not-catholic Bible (including Revelation, what a trip that one is). As for the OT, I know up to Malachi, but everything after it is unfamiliar. *puts it on 'to read' list.
