Unfortunately, jet accidents are more commonly fatal than car accidents; but fewer people use the roads, so those of us who have kept our cars don't have to worry about the traffic. The real downside is when crashing jets fall on top of your house, and when you can't see the moon and stars for all the jet lights. So much for poetry.
