"Ah good!" the Brigadier said, standing by his jeep as a large truck with camouflage canvas rumbled into the quarry. "That ought to do the trick nicely." He waved. The truck pulled up and idled at a stop.

"Sir!" the man driving said. "What's our cargo?"

"You see them here," the Brigadier replied, sweeping his arm to encompass all the various people around the quarry.

"Are those police boxes?"

"Never mind those. Just give these people a lift. We're going back to UNIT HQ."

"Yessir!"

Two looked around at all the people. "Well, you heard him. Come along. It may not be fancy but it works. Victoria? Zoe? Jamie?" He turned in a circle quizzically then spotted them all stuffed into Bessie. "Oh dear, dear you aren't really going to ride with him, are you?"

Zoe crossed her arms in a way indicating she was staying where she was. Jo almost laughed at this.

Ace looked over at Bessie and sighed, wishing she could somehow cram herself in there. Atleast she didn't have to go with the parade of Doctors and companions.

One climbed onto the truck followed by Ian and Barbara. Atleast he knew Susan was safe in the TARDIS. Out of trouble and out of the way.

Ten and Rose, who had previously been in the TARDIS once more, ran down to the crowd as not to miss the transport.

As the last of them clambered up into the truck, Two stood a moment and just looked over at his companions before climbing in after them.

Jamie couldn't stand it. Suddenly he got up and jumped out of Bessie, running for the truck. Ace, seeing this, happily took the opportunity to jump from the jeep and grab the vacant slot in the cool yellow car.

"Jamie!" Two said happily as the young Scot climbed in after them. He patted a spot on the bench next to him as the truck began bouncing along over the rocks.

Jamie gave him a lopsided smile. "Couldn't leave ye alone like that. Who knows what kinda trouble you'd get into wi'out me."

--

Three started up Bessie and considered his carload of girls. "Well, this is turning out to be quite an interesting day, isn't it Jo? I feel like I should be taking you all out to a motion picture instead of to UNIT." He looked back at Ace. "You're my Seventh's companion, aren't you? Pleased to meet you, it appears you may know me as 'Three' at least for today." He put the car in gear and followed the transport out of the quarry, with Benton bringing the Brig's jeep up at the rear.

ooc:

ok, hard for me to squeeze my characters in :D

I'm going to be cleaning my room all of today so I will not be on. As always, feel free to RPG my characters as much as you want

Five smiled as Jamie climbed into the truck, he remembered Jamie. "Well we've managed to start our first leg of the journey without splitting up," he addressed One who was sitting next to him. "Let's see if we can stay that way for the rest of the time.

Martha had managed to sit in between the Tenth Doctor (which is what she had wanted) and the First Doctor. She turned toward 10 since he was the only one she knew and asked, "So could you fill me in on what's going on Doctor?"

"Well... in short I'm them and they're me... different regenerations of myself." Ten said, almost to himself.

"Is something wrong with the time space vortex?" Rose asked.

Ten nodded. "Something is tampering with my timeline and perhaps the Master's. I won't be surprised if more of me show up."

---

Seven didn't have time to say anything to Ace before she leaped into Bessie. He sighed and sat alone in the back seat hoping that his former self would keep her out of trouble.

---

"Interesting? Certainly a word for it. Do you think that he, I mean you, I mean... Ten will be able to figure out why this is happening?" Jo asked confusing herself with her own words.

Ace looked over the seat at the controls on Bessie. "Hey Doctor, can I have a go at driving?" She asked, curious about the different functions of the car.

Three glanced back at Ace as he turned onto the main road. "Well, I don't know. Bessie has more to her than generally meets the eye. Even Jo here knows better than to use some of these switches, the super-drive especially." He winked at Jo, knowing full well she'd gotten over to UNIT and back a little too quickly to have been driving at a legal speed.

He looked up at where the rest of him were amusing themselves by waving at them out of the back of the truck. "Though..." he said thoughtfully, "I suppose there's no harm in taking the lead." He flipped a switch. "Hang on, now."

--

The Brigadier sat back, watching the countryside go by with a small frown on his face. How in the world could he explain this one to Geneva? It simply couldn't be done. He'd have to report all expenditures and such as being from the same man. Which it was, in a sense. He looked back at Seven, who seemed quite well-mannered for a Doctor and vaguely reminded him of Two.

"You said you were the Seventh one, is that right? I'm.... wait, I suppose you already know who I am, if you remember it from your earlier self, right?"

"All right, I'd pretty much figured that out," Martha said to Ten, "So is that about it or is there anything else going on?"

ooc: as usual, I will also be busy tomorrow. Sundays are really bad. so I'll add another day to my absence

"Anything else?" Ten asked wondering what she ment. "Well the Master's here if you're wondering that."

"I believe he will look much different than when you last saw him." One said. "Though you haven't met him yet my dear, hmm?" One added to Rose.

"The Doctor talks alot about him." Rose explained.

---

"Ah yes! Brigadier Leftbridge Stewart!" Seven said. "I cirtinly hope that this doen't mess with out timelines. You see, you aren't suposed to meet me yet." Seven explained.

OOC: I'll take Four, Ian, and Sarah Jane if that's all right! Don't worry, though, I'll hold off until y'all reach UNIT to do anything. After all, we can't introduce another Doctor without the Brig present, right? ;)

ooc: Nice to have you aboard!

Bessie shot forward, Three neatly steering her around the truck and then accelerating into a nice straight stretch.

Victoria closed her eyes and clenched her hands into the seat once again, thankful that there were so many people in the car. It helped her not feel like she was going to go flying right out, especially since Ace was sitting on her skirt. Beside her Zoe was giving little squeals of delight. Tentatively opening one eye she saw the blur of trees, fields and buildings whipping past and closed them again, trying very hard to trust this Doctor like she would her own.

-

"Ah, yes," Two said. "I don't know what he looked like when you last saw him, but the fellow we saw was dressed all in black, a bit of a beard, and quite interesting eyes."

"He took that rock, the meteorite," Jamie put in. "The big piece, that is. The one we're callin' Three kept me from stoppin' him." He still looked rather put out by that turn of events. "He said we don' want to kill him." Reminded of Three, he looked out the back to check on the girls just in time to see them accelerate past the truck and out of their view.

"Doctor! He's gone off w' 'em!"

"Oh, he'll meet us at UNIT, I'm sure," Two said. "It just figures he had to get a head start on the rest of us."

"Doctor! What are we going to do about the Master?!" Jo shouted over the fast wind blowing by.

"Not him again! Trying to take over earth?!" Ace asked loudly, leaning forward over the front seat again.

---

"Back to him again?" Ten sighed. "I just finished dealing with him recently. But we can always deal with him again."

Rose pitied her Doctor for having to fix problems caused by one man over and over but the others in the truck didn't look so pitiful as annoyed and her Doctor didn't look distressed so much as ready to do it again.

"I see," the Brigadier said. "This could get a little tricky if I'm not supposed to remember you. For one thing, it makes conversation difficult. I think you'll just have to settle for my trying not to remember later on." He looked up to see Bessie had disappeared off ahead of the truck. "Blast it, what's he up to now?"

"Wanting to tidy up his lab before showing it off?" Benton suggested with a smile.

-

"Most probably," Three replied with a grimace. He glanced back at Ace. "I suppose in your time he's still up to his old tricks?" His eyes suddenly widened and he reached down to the dash to flip off the switch, spinning Bessie around as he did so. "Hold on!"

"What is it?!" Victoria cried as they all fought to keep from being thrown from the vehicle.

"The Master!" Three said shortly, sending the roadster off onto a disused dirt drive. "I saw him!"

Zoe managed to keep a hold on the seat as they came to a sudden stop, spinning around. She gave a small shriek but not loud enough to be heard by anyone exept Ace and Victoria.

"Where?" Ace asked.

"Are you sure it's him?" Jo added.

ooc: yes very nice to have someone else WargPuppy :D

"Ok, the master then." Martha leaned back, "I suppose it's nice to know your enemy."

ooc again: watching even more fifth doctor, the one right after he regenerates, I love it :D

"We went to school together." Ten said. "He was a genius..."

Rose sighed and crossed her arms. It seemed everyone knew more than her.

"There! Just ahead!" Three said, pointing as he skidded Bessie to a halt beside a still-idling black car, its door hanging open. They all looked to see what appeared to be an old weathered barn, and a man in black was just slipping through the door.

"You all stay here, I'm going to see what he's up to."

--

"Ye think th' girls will be all right?" Jamie worried as they watched the countryside roll by. Outside they could see the jeep following along, the Brigadier and Seven apparently having some sort of conversation. "Mebbe I should've stayed wi' them..."

"Oh, I'm sure they'll be just fine," said Two. "They'll all be there, right as rain. As much as that dandy sometimes rubs my fur the wrong way, he's still me you know."

"Yes. That's what worries me..." said Jamie. He looked up at Rose and Martha. "Do ye have to watch out for that one? I mean, keep him from bolluxin' up the works all the time w' his good ideas?"

"Jamie!" Two protested, pulling a face at him.

--

"My Doctor's nothing like that." Rose protested. "Niether of them..."

"Oi! Plans don't go that badly do they?" Ten said trying to remember some of the adventures that were so long ago with Jamie.

Rose put her head on Ten's shoulder and sighed. "I never knew..." She didn't finish her sentance.

"Never knew what?" Ten asked.

"Nothing." Rose said. She had, in fact, been about to comment on how many people he had traveled with before her, she had only known about Sarah Jane and she wasn't even there.

---

"But Doctor-!" Jo started.

"We're not staying here." Zoe said firmly.

Martha piped up jokingly, "Oh of course, I always have to keep an eye on him to make sure he doesn't get himself in trouble."

"Yes, you are." Three told them firmly. "The Master is dangerous, the last thing I need is one of you getting hurt. The rest of me will never forgive myself. Jo, you know what he's like. I'm putting you in charge. If anything happens, take everyone back to UNIT."

With that he climbed out of the car and began rapidly stalking across the overgrown grasses, sidling up to the barn's side door. He flattened himself against the worn wood and carefully opened the door.
--

"Here we are, no mishaps," Benton said cheerfully as they followed the truck into the lot at UNIT Headquarters. "Which is pretty good considering we've a lorry-load of Doctors."

"Hm. I think you may have spoken too soon," the Brigadier noted as they began to climb out.

"What do you mean?"

Lethbridge-Stewart raised his brows. "Do you see a yellow car?"
