Six perched on a stool by the kitchens and happily stuffed himself, hardly even noticing the girls had gone.

--

"Well," Three said. "I can hardly say I understand what it is doing, and I think it would be a safe bet that you don't either. Not entirely." He tapped a couple of the objects that the Master had wired up to the meteorite's dome. "An abjectchronometer...a variable timeflow meter... and what's this?" He flipped part of a ticker-tape that was slowly exuding from a machine over and looked at it. "Comparitive measurements on time anomalies?"

He looked up at the Master sharply. "It's obviously affecting Time, in some manner, and as a Time-sensitive, you are aware of it just as much as I am." He pointed to where the readings were spiking. "It's spiked when you've fed it power? Good heavens, man, it should be destroyed, not amplified if it warps the natural fabric of Time, you know that!"

--

Two raised his brows at Five and then turned to the Brigadier. "Sorry to be so abrupt, my dear fellow, but I don't want me to leave myself behind. Me, myself and Jamie, that is. May we borrow a bit of transport, Brigadier? I'm sure you won't mind, thank you very much."

He pulled Jamie out of the room, calling back over his shoulder "Be sure to let that overly colourful me know it's his job to stay here and keep an eye on things, will you? Come along Jamie."

Five turned to go after the rest of himself as Martha, Nyssa and some of the cooking staff showed up again.

"What's going on now?" asked Martha.

"We're off to find the Master again," explained Five, "If you want to come along I'm sure you can, everyone else is going. Come along Nyssa."

Nyssa told the cooking staff to just leave the carts of food with the Brigadier and she, Doctor number Five, and Martha hurried off after the rest of the crew of Doctors.

Seven hurried outside, close followed by Ten. He was about to clamber into a jeep when he noticed Three's gyrocopter sitting quietly to the side of everything else in UNIT. He smiled. "Now I remember that." He said to himself, himself himself that is rather than Ten, and got inside of it. Taking off his hat he brought out the key, which he miraculously still had, and took off to fly over all traffic that might slow him down.

Two and Jamie ran down the steps and stopped, their hair waving wildly in the wind from the gyrocopter as Seven lifted into the air.

"Look!" said Jamie. "Doctor! It's a wee 'copter!"

"My goodness, they do seem to have shrunk. I was rather hoping for something that would seat more than one person." They were both surprised that the wind and noise seemed to be getting louder instead of quieter.

"Doctors!" called Benton from back behind them. "Get out of the way! The other chopper is coming in to pick you up!"

--

Six ambled down the hallway to the lab, pushing a loaded tea-trolley with each hand. "Peri!" he called. "Look at this! Isn't it just marvelous! Oh, I say. Where did everyone go? Well, no matter. More for us."

Five, Nyssa and Martha came out after ten and backed up as their transportation showed up. "Just as long as it will fit us all and it will go fast I don't really care what we ride in," said Martha.

"I don't know, you might end up with some strange things thinking like that when you're traveling with the Doctor," Nyssa corrected, "A doctor."

They all grabbed at their hats, hair or coats as the large military helicopter settled into place in the middle of the car park, then ran forward to climb in and get themselves buckled into place.

"Hey!" Jamie protested as all the seats were filled leaving none for him. "Doctor! What about me?!"

"I don't know," Two shouted back. "Hang onto one of the skids!"

"Oh no I'm not!" Jamie shouted back. "I'll be left behind before I do that!"

"Oh all right..." Two grumbled, unclicking his own belt and climbing back out. "You climb in!"

Jamie started to climb in. "What about you?!" he shouted over the roar of the blades.

"Don't mind me - I'll be right here!" He settled himself on one of the helicopter's skids. "Off we go now!" he hollered up at the dubious pilot.

"You can't do that, we'll be unbalanced!" the pilot frowned.

"What?!" asked Two.

"Ye can't do that!" Jamie protested.

"Yes, I can!" Two shouted back, his hair flying in every direction. "I can hang on as well as anyone!"

"If you're doin' that, so am I!" Jamie said stubbornly and took up a slot on the opposite skid.

The pilot shrugged. Being a UNIT pilot, he knew better than to try to persuade a Doctor (any Doctor) to change his mind, no matter how ludicrous it seemed. He lifted off.

The Master smiled in his normal evil and yet amused way. "Who is going to stop me Doctor? You?" He asked. "You forget that I have both Miss Grant and your other companion locked up."

---

Seven flew along, looking down at the ground regularly to see where he was. He saw the edge of London and the farming fields going off. The road, which he assumed Three had taken, was heading toward a farm some way off. His normal enjoyment of flying his old gyrocopter was clouded with worry.

---

As One, Ian, and Barbara arrived at the quarry they looked around. "This may be a while." Ian sighed, looking down at the long walk to the TARDIS where Susan was.

---

Ten and Rose climbed into the jeep which Sergeant Benton had brought out. Rose smiled and turned to Ten. "Is this what it always used to be like?"

"Before the death of the timelords things like this would happen regularly. Well not on such extremes." Ten replied.

Rose looked at him with an unbelieving expression.

"Well it happened three... four times." He said. "With two, three, or four of me."

Three tapped one of the components and considered the Master. "Why so you have, and I don't doubt you'd do it too. But what I don't know is if you know that this experiment of yours is affecting the timeline in some manner, what you need me for...."

He paused to consider the metal cuff the Master had just clicked around one of his wrists, effectively clamping the Doctor to one of the machines. He frowned at the machine in question. "Unless it has something to do with this?"

--

Two hung on tight and grinned over at Jamie under the helicopter. The Scot didn't look too pleased with the situation, in fact his eyes were squeezed shut in sheer terror as he clung to the skid.

--

Victoria followed this strange leather-clad Doctor back towards the barn. Somewhere, far off, she thought she heard the sound of some kind of helicopter coming.

"It would appear that the meteorite is effected, triggered if you will, by high temperatures. This here is a plasmatic temperal kronoizer. A larger version of course." The Master said. With that he pushed a few buttons and flipped a switch. The machine made a humming noise and little glowing light appeared around the hand cuffs that connected the Doctor to the machine.

----

"That's odd." Seven said, as he felt a warm rush come over him.

-----

The other Doctors felt the same warm feeling through their bodies. "Rose..." Ten said.

"Ya?" Rose replied looking over to him, clutching herself.

"Do you feel that warm in the air?" He asked.

Rose shook her head. "Cold if you ask me." She said putting on a jacket she had with her. "Autumn weather changes so abruptly."

----

One, Barbara, and Ian finally arrived at the TARDIS and unlocked the doors. As they walked in Susan rushed over to One and clung to him. "Oh Grandfather! The doors were stuck and you were gone so long and I was so worried!" She said in a shaky voice, near to crying.

One patted her and looked her in the eyes. "You need to not wander off so much hmm?" He said. "Come on." One then stopped and a confused expression came over is face.

"Doctor?" Ian asked. "What's wrong?"

"Do you feel that rush of warm air?" He asked.

"No. The air hasn't changed much at all." Ian replied.

Six paused in his consumption of a large snack to peek inside the bread.

"What is it?" asked Peri, nibbling on a lettuce leaf.

"I don't know. I thought for a moment someone had slipped some jalapenos into my sandwich."

--

Two was glad the helicopter was flying along so well, the breeze was very refreshing considering how unseasonally warm it was.

--

Three gave a hiss as the heat shot up his arms. The cuffs were rapidly becoming too hot to bear. The control the Master was working was too far out of his reach, but he might be able to reach the Master himself if he put his long legs into use.

"Hai!" he said, pulling his arms to one side and giving a sudden sideways kick at the Master's backside.

--

"Hoi!" Two said suddenly, his arms jerking to one side as his legs kicked in the air. This was unfortunate as he slipped off his helicopter skid and had a couple very bad moments of half-dangling before he got himself back up again.

--

"Hey!" Six suddenly threw his sandwich straight into a startled Peri's face and hopped violently to the side.

ooc: sorry I haven't been posting, I keep nearly posting then someone calls me away from the computer and I don't want to do it really quickly and end up with something really stupid ;)

I'll say Martha followed Ten and Rose, but I'm not so sure where Five and Nyssa ended up

ic:

Doctor number Nine, ignoring strange warm feelings and the distant sound of a helicopter, strolled into the barn where there seemed to be the master and some version of himself, not to mention a few random companions. They apparently hadn't noticed him but he wasn't so sure that Victoria could pull off sneaking in, he turned around and gestured for her to go back outside.

--

Martha frowned, it wasn't like the Doctor to be experiencing odd medical problems. She hoped it wasn't anything serious.

--

"Doctor, do we go back to help the rest of the, er, Doctors now?" asked Barbara. "We can't go anywhere in the TARDIS right?"

Ten suddenly gave a wild kick toward the jeep's door making it fly open. Rose quickly reached over and managed to latch it again. "What was that?" Rose asked.

"Muscle... spasm." Ten said in his 'I'm really not sure but I know everything' way.

---

One's leg kicked and his foot hit the console. A button came falling off to the ground and cracking. "Oh dear." He said. "Ian, could you go into that room over there and get a new one of these?"

Ian was a bit confused on why the Doctor would kick the TARDIS and then be upset about it breaking. He picked the button off the ground and went down the hall to find a new, untracked one.

---

Seven uncontrollably kicked forward making him nearly fall out of the gyrocopter. Grabbing the edge of the seat he managed not to fall out. Getting the gyrocopter back on the right coarse he continued, trying o figure out what had happened.

---

The Master dodge the Doctor's kick... almost. He was hit and stumbled over a table knocking over something made of glass that shattered onto the floor. He grumbled something incomprehensible and stood up, glaring at the Doctor for a moment. And then his face lightened up and he laughed.

Three was disappointed that he'd only landed a glancing blow, though it was moderately satisfying that he'd left a shoe-shaped print of dirt on the Master's backside, plus the heat coming through the cuffs was lessening to a more bearable level as a knob controlling it had been ricocheted off of.

"What do you find so amusing?" he asked the Master. "That your experiment is apparently doing nothing whatsoever aside from rather scalding my shirt-cuff, or that you'll soon be locked up somewhere far away from everyone, I sincerely hope?"

He waggled his fingers, then considering the way the cuffs were attached to the meteorite's dome, tried a quick spin. Unfortunately all this did was make him end up with his arms crossed over.

--

Victoria refused to be sent back outside. The nerve! She waited until Nine had disappeared inside one of the darkened doors, then followed him.

--

The helicopter crossed over a large patch of forested land then turned slightly to a smallish clearing up ahead. Two and Jamie, clinging to the skids with half-numbed hands both shouted out to one another at the same time. "I see it, there's the yellow car!" They could also see the tiny gyrocopter up ahead of them, Seven neatly bringing it around for a landing in the clearing. Two waggled his fingers then suddenly crossed his arms over to take another grip on the skid.

--

Six waggled his fingers in the marmalade, much to Peri's disgust.

"Whatever are you doing?" she asked him as he then spun around, crossed his arms and ate his biscuits at an angle.

"I don't know," he admitted, a bit puzzled.

--

Benton grumbled as their jeep was trapped behind a slow-moving lorry. He wished he had a super-duper drive, or whatever that thing was on the Doctor's car that made it move so fast.

To Ten's surprise he waggled his fingers and then twisted his arms around nearly hitting Rose in the face.

"Hey! Watch out there!" Rose said.

"Sorry." Ten said, pulling his arms back to normal.

Rose looked at him strangely, wondering about his strange actions of the past few minutes.

----

One was busy putting the button back on the console when his fingers waggled and his arms crossed making the button fall on the ground. He stumbled backwards at this and stepped on the new button breaking it. He mumbled something that sounded like marmalade wires but Ian was sure he heard wrong.

"Chesterton, could you get a new one?" One asked.

Ian sighed and walked out of the room to get a new button.

"Grandfather! Are you alright?" Susan asked.

"Oh yes, my dear." One said, patting Susan's shoulder.

----

Ace and Jo both saw Nine walk in, then Victoria. Ace was the first to her feet and then Jo. They both waved franticly, motioning for the two to come over.

----

Zoe sat with her head supported by her arm, looking at the control panel. She had been trying to hack into it and figure out the controls for a while. With out warning, like a light had been turned on in a dark room, she understood it. Quickly she began messing with the wires again. She pressed a button and said, "I'll have you out in a moment."

----

The Master smiled. "It's no use in struggling, Doctor. You can't get out. And you're being most cooperative today."

Nine didn't actually expect Victoria to stay out, none of his companions ever did but he always felt the urge to tell them to stay out of harm. He saw Ace and Jo waving to him and started sneaking toward them, the master was apparently busy with a version of himself he now recognized as the third. He looked back around to see if Victoria was following him and dropped to the floor, better safe than sorry and he couldn't risk the master seeing them.

---

Martha was getting more and more worried, "Doctor all three of us here know that the only time things like this happen is when someone is causing it. If someone is messing with you they're probably messing with the rest of the Doctors here."

---

Barbara watched in confusion as One seemed to be having some kind of spasms. "Doctor is there anything we can do?" she didn't believe that he was all right.

---

ooc: I'm still not entirely sure where Five and Nyssa are, do you guys have any idea?

Also, we got my sister The Five Doctors for her birthday so I should be able to watch that soon :D

ooc: As far as I know, Five and Nyssa are in the helicopter - they followed everyone out there and then it was full.
Yay for The Five Doctors! I love that one, still wish Four had been willing to be a part of it, but I think their creative cover for it worked okay.

okay, I'll try to work Five into my next post after one of you continues it

ooc|| explanation: the little time messing up thing majiger is hooked up to Three so whatever Three does all the other Doctors do. Talking isn't efficient anything but other stuff is.

Ian walked in and handed One the new button for the console. One moved his hand to take it from him and forgot about holding his finger over the hole where the button was connected. A spring came flying out as he moved his finger.

"Hm? Oh yes. Could you hold this?" One handed Barbara button, then turned back to the console and began trying to fit the spring back in.

---

"External interference? What makes you say that?" Ten asked. "As I always used to say, 'Always assume the best until you find out more about the situation. Then assume the worst.'" He said, quoting himself from something he had said to Romana long ago.

---

Jo rolled her eyes. "The Master and the Docto- my Doctor are in that room there." Jo said, just loud enough for them to hear, motioning toward the closed door. The cage bars suddenly flew upward.

"Open." Zoe's voice came from the communicator. "Better get out incase it comes back down."

Jo and Ace hurried out. "We could run in there, get the Doctor, and run out." Ace suggested.

"Have you met the Master?" Jo asked.

"The Doctor talks about him sometimes." Ace shrugged. "We could all take him."

"I'll go in." Jo offered. "He knows me and won't be as quick to shoot me or something. Anyway, I might be able to get him out if he's locked up."

I figured that one out (though it took me a minute ;)) you guys are improving my RPGing skills ;)

Barbara took the button and watched him trying to put the spring back in, "I think it went in the other way, do you want help Doctor?"

"External interference? What makes you say that?" Ten asked. "As I always used to say, 'Always assume the best until you find out more about the situation. Then assume the worst.'" He said, quoting himself from something he had said to Romana long ago.

---

"Because practically anything that happens around you has to be caused by 'external interference' don't you agree Rose?" asked Martha, "We've both been around long enough to know that."

Jo rolled her eyes. "The Master and the Docto- my Doctor are in that room there." Jo said, just loud enough for them to hear, motioning toward the closed door. The cage bars suddenly flew upward.

"Oh, well then," said Nine as Jo told him the Master was out of sight. He got up and dusted himself off, "just had to make sure." He stepped back as the cage came up and listened as they plotted their next step. "Even if it is less likely for him to shoot you it doesn't exactly sound smart to go strolling in on the Master in the middle of one of his plans..." he stopped for a second, "no wait, yes it does. Element of surprise and all. All right then, off you go and we'll stay right behind you as back up." He felt rather like imitating his companions and following her when she told him not to, he'd always wanted to do that.

---

Nyssa wondered to herself what her Doctor was doing and could see that Doctor number 2 was doing the same things; she was thankful they were landing or that one would probably have gone flying off. But she had a feeling these strange happenings could only get worse as they got closer to the Master.
