Hermione looked at the others sitting at the table. "Harry, do you really want me to tell you what I mean? You know who I'm talking about, and there's a ball coming up. Ask her." She shot her eyes quickly to Cho.

"I... I have to use the restroom," Cho said to Stella, though she was doubtful her friend heard her. She stood and headed for the girl's bathroom.

Hermione acted like she didn't hear him. "I...should get to my room. I have to unpack." She got up and left.
