"Let's see... what do we put on tacos?" she asked playfully. She began pulling down bowls to put the ingredients in.

Brin folded her arms over her knees and rested her head on them. that had been her ten years ago. so happy so willing to just help...obliviouse to everything. she was happy that Mara had no clue what was going on but it hurt so much to see her mom pretend

"Yep!" Lisa replied. "Let's get the cheese and the meat from the fridge. Do we want lettuce too?" she asked as she opened the fridge.

Mara shook her head making a face at the thought of lettuce. She jumped down from her stool and ran over to the fridge and pulled out the cheese and meat.

Lisa shook her head, laughing quietly. "Here, you can put them in these bowls," she said, seperating 2 bowls from the rest.

"Not yet, we have to cook the taco shells so they don't break," Lisa said, pulling a skillet out of the cabinet. She took the taco shells from the counter and set them on the skillet. "Should we set the table?"

Dan had been home only a few minute before he texted Brin.

"How are you doing? Has your mum killed you yet?"

He texted then sent and got a packet of microwavable burger and placed it in the microwave.

Brin felt her phone vibrating against her leg and she could here Mara coming to get her but she didn't move. she didn't want to admit how hard listening to them was and if anyone heard her or saw her face they would know righ away

She quickly got up before Mara got to the stairs and ran into her room. Mara was young but she would know womehting wasn't right. closing the door and reached for her cell and smiled as she pulled up the message.
Text: no she hasn't killed me yet...but I just might do that for her.

she hit the send button then sat down on her window seat.

He felt the vibration of his pocket and picked it out flipping it up to see the message.

"Having a hard time?? :("

He asked her.

OCC: I'm gonna be off soon sorry but i just feel really ill, i never thought colds could be so draining...
