brin shook her head, "you deserve his respect, but that doesn't happen."

"Don't worry about my relationship with your father. That is not the topic right now," Lisa said.

"But...why do you always avoid it?" Brin asked her anger melting into pity, "It hurts to watch. Mara doens't get it but I do."

ooc: Candi this RPG functions very differant than most of them and the only people that are in it at the moment are Brin her family and her boyfriend but whne things progress we could always use youthgroup kids and you will be the first to know when they come into the story

"I know you love him mom and that's what I don't get." Brin didn't want to drop the subject. she wantede to understand why her family was disfunctional...why she hated her dad so much and why on earth her mom was still with him.

Lisa sighed. "You don't stop loving someone just because they make it hard."

"More like impossible." brin tried to learn her mothers eyes. those eyes that used to have so much life and love in them that were now hurting all the time, "He doesnt deserve you."

"Brin," Lisa sighed. "Please, if only for my sake, don't talk about him that way."

"Thank you," Lisa said, kissing Brin's forehead as she passed her to go into the kitchen. "What would you girls like for dinner?"

Brin closed her eyes and took a deep breath, "I'm not hungry." she said as she walked up the stairs. she was hungry...famished but she didn't want to eat with her mom.

Mara ran into the kitchen, "Tacos!" She said wanting some for dinner.

Lisa began pulling out ingredients, frowning. She didn't like the fact that Brin had spent the entire day with her boyfriend, with no friends around. "Tacos it is," she said, smiling at Mara. "Want to help?"

Brin closed her door behind her and threw her bag on her bed. she had an itch just to climb out the window and sneek off to Dan's house but reconsidered. she silently walked out of her room and sat down on the top step just listening to Mara and her Mom in the Kitchen
