“yah I have a boat and a few other things but yah, he smiled, “Nick is just so paranoid about making a good impression on this girl he has done everything right that a girl would want on a date, even though they technically aren’t dating.” He shook his head, “Nick was never very big with girls and I…it doesn’t matter what I think.”


Nick hesitated before answering, “I better not.” He wanted to but he knew them being alone might not be a good idea. He smiled and then took her hand. “ Adina I can tell you honestly though that this has been one of the greatest evenings of my life,” and with that he brought her hand up and kissed it. “Thank you. And I’ll talk to you soon,” He smiled again and started to walk away.

Adina stood still for a minute, she wanted to run over to him and kiss him, but she couldn't, not yet. "Good night," she called after him, she opened her door and went in. Adina stared at the floor, her past was ruining her future.

"Of course it matters what you think. Come on, I'm good at keeping secrets. I've kept yours." She smiled and winked at him.

Adina stood still for a minute, she wanted to run over to him and kiss him, but she couldn't, not yet. "Good night," she called after him, she opened her door and went in. Adina stared at the floor, her past was ruining her future.

“Good night,” nick called after her walking backwards then he turned around and got into the car.

"I just checked it out of the library not too long ago actually. It's pretty good, I'm over half way through. I never really understood why it was called 'To Kill a Mockingbird' though." She shrugged. "Some hidden meaning no doubt."

Occ: ok I know that we started this RP with it being the first day of Collage but with everything that is going on it makes a bit more sense that it is already at lest a few weeks into the school year. Would you guys mind if we bumped it up a bit?

Nick drove the purring car into the garage and turned off the ignition. He set his head back on the head rest and closed his eyes. He couldn’t believe that this was happening. It never had before and now…she was so beautiful. He walked into the house and tossed the key in the key tray on the counter.
“Chez, I’m back.” He yelled as he looked in the fridge for something to drink. There was no reply but Chez’s shoes were there. “Chez?” Nick walked into the hall and knocked on his bedroom door. “Chez you in there?” he asked and waited. A moan of sorts floated up though the door. Nick didn’t like the sound of it but the door was locked. Taking a deep breath Nick laid his shoulder into it and shattered the thin wooden door into splinters as a searing pain shot though is arm and then his body. Nick looked around a saw a puddle of red oozing from behind the bed. Nick ran over to his friend’s side a trickle of blood streaming out of his mouth and nose. “CHEZ!” nick dropped to his knees shaking him, “Chez can you hear me?” he was yelling but he couldn’t help it. Chez turned his head and opened his eyes. Nick grabbed his cell phone and dialed 911.

"I just checked it out of the library not too long ago actually. It's pretty good, I'm over half way through. I never really understood why it was called 'To Kill a Mockingbird' though." She shrugged. "Some hidden meaning no doubt."

As they reached the end and the elevator dinged telling them they were on the ground Ceagin smiled, “Yah well I wouldn’t know.”

Sarah shook her head. "Right, I never said you did." She nudged him playfully and walked out of the elevator. She waved to Kiera, letting her know they were back.

occ well I thought that it would be about three weeks into the school year when we actually started the RP. same time of night and everything that it is right now just a little more time to get where we are at the moment. it jsut felt like two days wsa a little short for the things that are happening.

ic. Adina walked around her room, she wasn't tired. She put on jeans and a t-shirt and went outside. She heard an ambulace, she looked around, it was headed for Nick's dorm. Adina stood still, she hoped nothing was wrong, but she headed tords his dorm.

“Ok yah, YES!” Nick shut his phone and turned all of his attention to Chez. “They’re going to be here soon man.” Nick didn’t know what to do. Chez started to cough and a sputter of blood and spit came out. His eyes nearly rolled back into his head but nick kept him focused.
“Look at me man. Come on Chez. Come on!” Nick was almost frantic his hands now red and his forehead sweaty. Chez’s breathing became even more raspy then gargly, then he stopped breathing all together. Nick felt for a pulse. “NO!” He yelled placing his hands on Chez’s chest he began to pump. “Dang it Chez! Come on don’t leave me now man, they’re on their way. Just a little longer!” Nick pumped steady and hard trying to get his heart to start again. He heard the door open and the sirens of the ambulance shrieking on the street. “ In the bed room!” he yelled still pumping. “Come on Chez, please.” The medics rushed in.
“42 vb,” one said rubbing the shock paddles together
“Clear,” the other said and the paddles were placed on Chez’s chest. His whole body jumped from the shock but there was no change
“43,” the one said again
“Clear.” Nick could hear the electricity go though Chez’s body
“43”
“Clear” there was a deafening silence that fallowed. It seemed to drag on for years.
“we have a pulse,” one of the medics said as they lifted him on to a dolly and rushed him out to the ambulance. Nick couldn’t move. The blood glistened on the floor seemingly laughing at him. he finally was able to move and ran out to the ambulance to see them setting Chez in the back. What was he thinking?

Adina stood outside, she saw the paramedics put Chez in the ambulance. She just stared at the ambulance for a minute, it brought back memories. She shook her head and looked around. She saw Nick.

Nick saw Adina go into the house but he just stood there watching the ambulance drive away, he could hardly breath. he sat down on the front step his head in his hands. he couldn't fight it as the tears burned down his face, "Chez, Come on man," whispered. he couldn't say anything else. He felt something drip off of his hand it was red and sticky. Pulling out his phone he mechanically pushed speed dial 3

Ceagin’s phone rang and he smiled at the girls, “Sorry it’s nick again,” he stepped a few steps away and opened his phone, “Yah…WHAT! Tell me your joking Nick! Yah, absolutely. My God... Be right there.” He hung up. Fear was evident on his face.

Nick saw Adina go into the house but he just stood there watching the ambulance drive away, he could hardly breath. he sat down on the front step his head in his hands. he couldn't fight it as the tears burned down his face, "Chez, Come on man," whispered. he couldn't say anything else. Adina looked around inside, she didn't find Nick. She went back outside, she saw him sitting on the stepps. Adina walked over and sat down beside him, she knew how he felt. She wanted to say something, but she didn’t know what to say. She put her arm around him.

Ceagin looked up at her and Kiera but didn’t say a thing. His mind was moving too fast. He rushed over to one of the safety guards, “Can I get emergency transport back to the main land.?” He asked. His voice was frantic and his eyes frightened. The guard nodded and called over on his radio. Ceagin walked back to where the girls were standing, “I just got a call that one of my roommates has been rushed to the hospital.” He stopped trying to stay composed, “you two can stay if you want and catch a cab home but I have to go right away. I am so sorry.”

Adina didn't say anything, she thried to fight back the memories of her parnets death. She gently rubbed Nick's back, not now, she said to her self, I'll deal with my past later.

As the boat sped along Sarah wished she knew how to help. Her last attempt to make Ceagin feel better didn't seem to work, if anything it made things worse. Sarah just sat there, and prayed Ceagin's roommate was alright.

"I dont know," Adina said quietly, "all I saw was chez being put in the ambulnce," she stopped. "He'll be all right," she said, she tried to sound sure that he would be all right
