I love the photo Mozy! My goodness! You both look so thrilled! I'm so glad you watched it with GG. Now you see how much fun it is to meet a TDLr in person. It feels like we've known and cared for each other forever, doesn't it? By the way, I want that coat....:)

Indeed, the Day of The Doctor was a great special (Spoilers follow), It sets a new tone for future episodes that will now have the underlying line of the Doctor searching for his home planet. I think that's a better premise than him needing to commit genocide to stop a war.

It felt so right to be watching it in a place with other Doctor Who fans. We all screamed and freaked out at the same times and understood the references to other things together (including Ten's last line in the 50th, at which point GG threw a pencil at the TV screen xD). I felt so at home.:D
So yes, I was very happy to be able to meet GG and watch the 50th at her house.:D

Great, great photo!

I didn't see the special yet!!! If I can't get my husband to take me to the big screen showing tomorrow ... I don't know when I will see it. Hope this works out. :)

I watched the episode at a friend's house, and it was glorious. ^_^ There are no non-spoilery words to describe the excitement and joy I felt over how it was all resolved. It was a beautiful episode, and I loved all the gracious nods to Classic Who. Altogether, it was wonderful, and a new favorite.

It was an excellent episode.

A weird memory surfaced near the end of the episode. I have a game called Wide World of Animals which contains short video clips about animals. When Doctor Who mentioned his bit about homes I thought of this totally unrelated quote from one of those clips, "Wherever they are, animals will make themselves a home, even if it is in yours."

I never ever have been looking sooooo forward to an episode or movie that much since the last movie of LotR. It was great and amazing. I loved how Ten was mistaken everytime. That cracked me up! I also loved to see them all together and the chemistry between the actors was brilliant. But the final 5 minutes made this great episode perfect! :D

I finally got to see it last night! :D I have to admit I wasn't quite sure what was going on - might have helped if I'd been following the recent series! But regardless of that, I found the end parts rather emotional because I love my nostalgia and therefore Classic Who references, so that was important to me, and makes me all the more eager to watch the old episodes again! The final shot was somewhat epic! :'D

What a wonderful picture of you two! That painting of the TARDIS is just awesome too!

The 50th anniversary episode was just superb, as simple as that!

Have you watched the Five(ish) Doctors Reboot? It's a hilarious companion to the episode.

It was absoballylutely fantastic! I've seen about three classic episodes, two of them being 1 and the other being 2, so I didn't know the Doctors in this one, but I very much enjoyed it. The problem was I started it almost EXACTLY a half an hour before I had to leave, so I was sitting there, at the computer screen, frantically trying to make it buffer so I could watch it. :p

I loved "The Five(ish) Doctors"! It was wonderfully clever and amusing, and I may have screamed when the set of "The Hobbit" came on. ;) That just made it even more splendid.
