Duffer Boot Camp!

Super obscure, if you ask me. I didn't get it at all. Which is why this thread nearly died. Don't be obscure. Don't even be semi-obscure. Always be clear. And use short sentences. If you want to be the author of many helpful user manuals. Or children's books. Some children prefer user manuals, though.

So...let me get this straight, WS...you love the whale, but you don't mind it getting dropped from high altitudes and being confused and disoriented when it hits the ground?

The violence hath turned me green. So WS used to be a whaler? Evil, evil, evil (unless, of course, he does it for the candles. everything can be forgiven for the sake of candles).

I think you mean angels. Same word minus the c plus an added swirl.

So... Which shade of green are we talking about here? Is it a nice deep olive green? Or sour apple green?

I assume you're in the boats, WS. Possibly the one that is being smashed by a whale's tail; that would certainly create an...ambivalence within you, where whales are concerned.

Freckles: I only turn a nice, deep forest green. The other two shades probably ought to be exorcised from the planet.

Hey! I have several clothing items in olive green! It brings out my eyes okay?!

I tell you that I was nowhere near those whales while that picture was being made!

Of course not; it's not a photograph. An innocent spectator carved into wood the image that was carved into his memory forevermore years after fleeing the scene and building a new life for himself in the heart of the Sangano Bamboo Forest, where he was finally able to confront his traumatizing experiences.

PS. There's nothing quite like the thrill of following up the word "forevermore" with "years after". :D

Freckles, you are disturbed. But we already knew that....

Actually the other shades of green are all right sometimes. It's just that forest green is inherently superior.

What about forum-green? Shouldn't that be inherently superior?

I'm not disturbed!! (not because of an accurate observation, anyway) I'm just an enthused linguist/writer/language-loving person. And not at all in a spelling police-y way. And-

LOOK AT WS STRANGLING THAT WHALE!!!
