and Prodigious1One, i don't really think that the Frisian dialect looks that much like english, but i have relatives in that area, so i will give you a couple of words that i know

heit = dad
mem = mum
beppe = grandmother
pake = grandfather

when i speak to my family again i'll ask for more.

Acctually Beppe kinda sounds like spanish maybe..or mexiacan...and if you've read Josefina books...*cough cough* and I called my Granpa Baka so Pake is very easy to remember...Oh I knew Pake because my friend told me that!
