Ok, that would be "mi pelo es café" or "yo tengo el pelo café."

Spanish gets kind of complicated sometimes, but it is a wonderful language.

Well, if you say "yo pelo es café" you would be saying "I hair is brown" so that's incorrect.

If you say "mi pelo es café" it means "my hair is brown" and that is correct.

If you say "tengo el pelo café," it means "I have brown hair" which is also correct to say.

Well, yellow in Spanish is "amarillo" but if you are talking about hair, we use the term "rubio" and that means blonde.

You could say "tengo el pelo amarillo," but it is better if you say "soy rubio" (male), or "soy rubia" (female).
