Are you serious? :p He stood there for like 30 seconds. He was way over the line, and he stood there, discussing with the other guy until the judge came. Both me and the Norwegian commentators saw it atleast, and I think we're broadcasting the same cameras as you guys are.

There was actually one incident in the match which was a clear penalty for Austria.

Interesting game afterall. Really enjoyed myself watching this!

Yah, Puzzle, let's not even allude to the potential curse word. It was one that a lot of people say in everyday conversation but that some people find offensive.

Anyway -- I heard people do collapse because of Doffen's handsomeness.

And here in the Netherlands Antilles, we call the game futbol.

They do put Robben, van Persie and Huntelaar in, they are very good!:D

The commentary here is in Papiamentu language, so I have the sound turned down (and I am working!) but I know Holland won.

Nice url. But some of the Dutchies have a filter, called clicksafe. It blocks sites with curses, sex, violence, and apparently soccer. It even blocked you url. Luckily it doesn't block this forum.

Italy won 2-0 ... Was a really cool match. One of the Italian attackers was totally useless though. The score would've been like 6-0 if Toni knew how to finish properly :p
 
Yeah, Toni has that problem a bit more sometimes, and when he does make a goal, the judge says it's offside...:p

But yeah, we won. Rumania wasn't overrun or something, like Italy was a bit. They did better than both Italy and France in my opinion. Of course we were playing with a different team, but still a good one. Rumania also had some good chances, but didn't finish very well either. I mean, the keeper, van Stekelenburg, hardly had to stop the balls.

I was kinda dissapointed to find out i couldn't watch France-Italy though, i mean, that would have been really interesting:D.

EDIT: yes, Doffen, you have to! :p
 
I'm glad Oranje didn't lose against Rumania. Many people hoped this would happen so both France and Italy would have been sent home. Fortunately Oranje did what every team normally does......go for it and win.
So France and Rumania are going home now?
It would be great to see Oranje against Russia. Why? Then we will meet Guus Hiddink! Unbelievable what this man is doing. First South-Korea and now Russia.
But Sweden is tough. Russia first has to play against Sweden before we know which out of those two will be the opponent of Oranje.

LOL -- the Italy/France game was on ESPN, and I wanted to see the Holland game, so I had to watch it on TeleCuracao, the island TV channel. The announcers were in a bar in Willemstaad (here on the island) and the commentary was in their local language, Papiamentu. Whenever there was a goal scored, the broadcast went back to the bar, where all the locals were celebrating -- it was in the middle of the afternoon, so I bet a lot of them were missing work and did not want to be on TV.

I think Holland shot themselves alittle in the leg. Italy is famous for comming back into a championship and win the whole thing. Even though Italy has been beaten, I wonder how it would be if they got another try (which they do).

I'll watch Russia - Sweden today... What will you guys watch?
