Favorite LotR Character?

Which, of these, is your favorite?

My favorite hobbit is Sam; Pippin comes in at a close second. My top favorite character is Eowyn. Faramir is my second favorite.

Nice choices. I am reading Fellowship of the Ring right now and loving Aragorn, but I know in TT and ROTK I will be back to liking Legolas and Gimli again...
 
I like Legolas as a close second he's my favourite Elf
My favourite dwarf can be none other than the famous Gimilie

Aragorn is my favourite Man...
Hobbit is Sam, then Pippin, then Merry then Frodo...
 
ARAGORN!!!!!! He wields a heavy, dangerous blade; commands an army of thousands, controlled an Army of the Dead, and is older than most think, the Elven blood in him doesn't show age. (Elond for example was over 3,000 years old.... that came as a shock!)

I don't think he has elven blood (at least I never remember hearing it mentioned), he's just one of the Dunedain and they were blessed with long life, or what humans consider long.

I'm pretty sure he was a very distant descendant of Beren and Luthien, but I can't remember why I think that. Maybe I'll do some research.
 
I love LOTR and my favourite character is Pippin. He's an ordinary hobbit, a little mischievous but very loyal. He's kind-hearted and even though he is afraid, he is as brave as he could ever be. I'm fascinated by the kind of bond the four hobbits had, especially Pippin and Merry. They are always together, best friends and there for each other. I even cried when I read the book and there was one moment in the end of The Battle of The Pelenor Fields, Merry was missing and Pippin was looking for him all over the place, he never lost hope. When the hobbits finally found each other, there was a line saying something about them being together, never apart again and that everything was going to be alright.. I love that moment, the friendship they have is amazing :)
 
Aragorn has always been my favorite! He is a wise King and he resisted the temptation of the Ring.
