.

Ok I need to say...

...HAPPY CINCO DEMAYO EVERYONE!!!

Q. What did you do for Cinco Demayo (Over here we are having Margaritas and fried Ice Cream!)

And BC says Hi...

Cinco de Mayo

¡Cinco de Mayo! ¡Musica, ganglas, regalos para todos!

I grew up in Arizona where we celebrated with chimichangas, sonora enchiladas, red sangria, margaritas, quesadillas ... it's making me hungry to think of it.

Where I live now, I guess we're not ethnic enough to celebrate.

Hey, I can drive to Canada in about four hours, yet I still celebrate Cinco De Mayo!

:)D Not that I have, but in reality it's just another excuse to get waisted:D)

Ideal job: Writing, or some other sort of job where I would use language like crazy (WHB, I think the phrase you used was French, and that it roguhly means, "I adore them." Am I right?!?!??!?!).

Q: How old were you when you (1) got your license and (2) got your first car?

Wooo - yeh!!! Languages are great aren't they!??! I'm gonna do linguistics at uni - I'm so excited.

Well, as the age limit is so high over here for driving, I only started learning to drive back when I turned 17 in Feb this year. I'm hoping to pass my test by the end of this year!!!!! Probably never get my own car cos of insurance.

I would want the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan turned into films, but unfortunately it is not feasible (is that spelt right??). Theres too many storylines that are two important to cut out. Each film would end up being 8 hours long and somone who hadnt read the books wouldnt have a chance at keeping up with them! Awwww - its a shame.

(p.s. If any1 else loves WoT - Id love to discuss em somewhere. Unfortunately it seems that most people havent read them or disliked them - oh well... :( )

Q. Do you consider yourself mature for your age? If you dont (like me!!) what is it about you that make you immature?

And you girls dont just say that us guys are immature cos you know you're all just as bad!!!

There's mature and there's mature

I try to BE spiritually mature for my age or any age in how I treat people, my morality and ethics, and in my service to God ...

But I think I ACT less mature than my age because my age is 41, but I stilll wrestle with our dog on the floor, run through the rain and splash in puddles, put too much bubbles in my Jacuzzi bath tub and fashion clothes out of them (and laugh uproariously at my own creations), pretend I'm flying when I'm scuba diving and read mainly books for children or young adults.

Many, you read that and it sounds like I am developmentally disabled which I am not -- I keep a full-time job and all. I'm just very young at heart!

Same question:
Are you mature or immature for your years?

Well, sadly most guys I've met that are my age are the most idiotic, self-indulged, egotistical donkeys I've ever met.

On the other hand my idea of a "good time" involves firearms and some form of "high explosive".

Does that sound mature to you...:D

Same Q.

hurray for you Inkspot!

Anyways, I have to add this: my dream job is to become a starship captain but the likelihood of that is next to none!

I'd like to consider myself "young at heart" mostly, but I really have to confess I'm somewhat immature when it comes to self-disciplining in schoolwork. Oh, I get good grades and everything but I just don't push myself any further! Tips anyone?...

I'll let you know after I stop doing the same thing...* blush* I'm just lazy.

Considering what I'm doing this Wednesday night, I think I'll have to take myself out of the "mature" category.

LOL, same for me (and I can't wait, regardless of how childish my plans seem to others)!!!

I was told yesterday by a close friend (girl I took to Prom) that she thinks I'm much more mature than another person we've both known since 7th grade, which is encouraging (I have something of a friendship with this person, but it's hard cuz he makes little, if any, attempt to hold himself to the same standards I hold myself to).

New Q:

When do you get out of school this semester (obviously, this applies primarily to those of us not in year-round school)?

My last day of finals is the 25th!

Our daughters' last day is May 26.
One of them leaves for Cancun on the 27th!

Same question:
what's your last day of school?

Are you going to Vegas, Black Cloak? Are you old enough to gamble? Have fun!!!

Aw man!!!!!!!!!! How horrible is this - I'm off on exam leave for a month but then I go back to school 20th June. I dont finish for summer until 22nd July!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( I'm gonna go cry now...........

no i am not (in 8 years i will be)but my dad and i are going for the contender finaly

I'm gonna miss you Black...but I shall be consoled by the fact that I KNOW your dad is going to get you both on tv with his antics.

And what is this about people getting a break from school...is that...leagal? How come I've never heard of this before...I have a feeling I've been missing out on something.....:( ;)

I don't break from school - at all. I usually end up doing suplimental material not normally included in my schedule. Last year I started learning latin, this year it looks like I'll be studying up on human biology. I'm begging to get July off though, because hopefully I'll be in California for the 'West Coast World Veiw Conferance' for a week, and will need some time to prepare.

So: Same Question.

My last day of school is April 28, 2006. And when I say last day, I mean, I'll be a college graduate! Less than a year to go!

...and if you were talking about this school year, well, I've been out for two weeks already ;-) I will have one summer class in July, then I go back in late August.

New question: What are you doing this summer?
I'm working at a printing place, I'm off and on helping some guys in Atlanta for various independent films, I'm shooting video for my new college tv show, and next month going to Honduras for a week-long mission trip.
