Well, they are adding scenes from the other books so why not? Puddleglum in the Dawn Treader? Sounds alright to me!!!!:D

But not just any Puddleglum, this is "happy" puddleglum as I've said. ANd he's voiced by Jar-Jar Binks from Star Wars.

And repacle Laura Brent as Ramandu's daughter with Megan Fox.... cus... cus... Megan Fox is.. well, everyone says she's hot!

Put everyone in swimsuits. Reep wears a red speedo. The minotaur wearsa full-body swimming costume like what they wore in the early 1900s.

Give Ramandu TWO daughters, who become rivals for Caspian.

...until one of them falls in love with Edmund. Eustace has a secret crush on her and so challenges Edmund to a duel, which Edmund loses, so Eustace gets the girl for a brief period of time, and when he returns to his own world she dies of a broken heart. Caspian is angry that she found Eustace more attractive than himself (even though her sister is still in love with him), so he says "Good riddance to bad rubbish" and orders her to be dumped overboard. And everybody else lives happily ever after.

This may be the ultimate in political correctness:

It has been speculated that the film company might want to give Caspian a more defined and urgent mission in sailing east. Well, the mission could be to prevent the ecosystem of the fresh-water ocean zone from being devastated by EEEEEEEEEE-vil American oil corporations. And in keeping with diminishing His status as Christ, Aslan would be shown as powerless to stop the evil oil-seekers by Himself.

Caspian and company are sailing east when a British consul shows up in the water, sent by Eustace's parents to find their sun. He sets to work immediately, providing Eustace with vitamins and distilled water. He quickly dumps all the curtains and furniture overboard, along with most of the bedclothes (each person is alotted one sheet). Then the esteemed consul deems it inappropriate for Caspian, Edmund, and Reepicheep to be carrying swords, so he attempts to confiscate them. When none of the three will give up their swords, he shoves them all overboard. Lucy and Drinian protest and he shoves them overboard too. Then he attempts to guide the ship back home, but instead lands on the island with the pool that turns everything to gold. He and Eustace get rich by sticking everything available in the water and selling it all to the Calormenes, from whom they keep the pool's special qualities secret.

smei-offtopic, I've wondered this ever since I first heard VODT when I was eight.. what IS a British Consul any way?

A consul is like an assistant ambassador. An ambassador negotiates agreements between the ambassador's own country and the host country; and a consul takes care of various business within the rules established by those agreements. Consuls render assistance to citizens of their own country who visit the host country; this is why Eustace wanted to see a consul from Britain.

Instead of twirling him around by the tail Eustace shoots Reepicheep out of a cannon. Enraged Caspian has Eustace shot out of a cannon. Then when the party reaches Ramandu's island Eustace and Reepicheep are there in beach-chairs waiting for them. And Reepicheep says "What took you so long?"

That's another idea...Lord Drinian finds out at the beginning of the story that he was adopted and that his real parents were Hawaiian. He influences Caspian and the Narnians greatly with his newfound enthusiasm for all things Hawaiian. So when Lucy, Edmund, and Eustace are hauled aboard the Dawn Treader, they find everyone wearing Hawaiian swim trunks and leis around their necks along with their traditional Narnian tunics.

Lucy likes the styles so much that she alternates between mumus and grass skirts for the rest of the voyage. Eustace whines at first but, when Drinian explains to him that Hawaiian swim trunks have been lauded by the last British consul, Eustace goes along with the new style. Edmund refuses, however, so Caspian sells him to Pug. Lucy objects, but Eustace is so happy with the idea that he clamps a hand over her mouth. Lucy bites him, and Eustace howls so loud for so long that no one can hear Lucy's protests until Edmund and Pug are out of sight. Lucy sighs and goes back to enjoying her mumu.

@ CF. Thanks! Saddly even in my AP European History Class that was one thing we did NOT learn.

back to topic....R's Daughter is named... Moon Unit.

And Ramandu reveals his last name is Zappa.

And Caspian's last name is See.

The discussion between Lucy's classmates as she saw in the Magician's Book:

Anne: I suppose you watched Prince Caspian over the summer.
Marjorie: Yes I did. Why do you ask?
Anne: I bet you loved it. I heard you were the president of the Georgie Henley Fan Club.
Marjorie: I was not! I mean she is a good actress, but not my favorite.
Anne: Yes, much better is Miranda Cosgrove.

Lucy: I can't believe it. She like totally dissed Georgie Henley! I mean Miranda is good. I love iCarly, but come on, she can't hold a candle to Georgie.

I think what's actually going to happen is Caspian falls for the female crew member on the Dawn Treader (what with it being a politically correct ship and all), causing a terrible decision when he claps his peepers on the old girl of Ramandu's. This poor girl goes off in despair and anger, learns magic, and becomes the green lady ready for SC. What do you think!?!?

NOW THAT'S JUST GENIUS! I can't believe C.S. lewis didn't include any romance or explanations like that. also,I call ramandu's daughter Ivaylo so it's not such a mouthful

If they put vampires in the DT, can Bat-Bat also make an appearance and kick the tar out of them?:D

Bumping the thread cause it was about to go under the radar.

There is still time to post your "silly ideas." Maybe they come out in the movie!!! :D

I had a silly idea.

You know how Ben looks more like Orlando bloom from Pirates of the carribean now that they did all this weird stuff to his hair?

Well, while traveling to ramandu's island, they run into jack sparrow and elizabeth swann and the orlando guy.
They both go onto Ramandu's island and they have their adventure.
But Ramandu's daughter, after falling in love with caspian, mixes him up with orlando and Elizabeth ends up leaving with Caspian!
Then there is this whole side adventure trying to get the right people back and beating the pirates to the end of the earth!

Eustace is so upset upon finding out that there is no British consul in the world of Narnia that he flings himself overboard and drowns. Since Edmund had been standing close to where Eustace was when he flung himself overboard and didn't react in time, the drowning is blamed on Edmund. Edmund refuses to even apologize that Eustace drowned. When the others harp on the subject a bit too much, he also flings himself overboard--but he swims up to the North, where he meets the Green Witch and vows to serve her forever if she'll make those aboard the Dawn Treader sorry for their behavior. Aslan, however, intervenes. He kills the Green Witch and, because Edmund has blown his second chance, exiles Edmund to Bism forever. Aslan is still so agitated after this fact that he devours everything in sight. Our last glimpse of him, just before the movie closes, is of him ripping apart a holly bush...
