Maria Ramos came up behind Jason and whispered into his ear: "Don't go getting your heart broken by that Tisdale girl; Alipang already has first dibs on getting HIS heart broken by her. I wish that WERE just a joke, but I'm afraid he's going to be really hurt."

OOC: Nightfire's latest post raises a question: IS THERE more than one high school in this town? What is it called? And is high school here four years or three?

Jason glanced at Jennifer, "uh..." he said intelligently, then ducked as Maria whispered in his ear. His ears were bright red. He turned to Chilana. "Uh huh."

EDIT: To put my two cents in, I think there should only be one school. Highschool is four years. (Those are my two cents, now I'm out of change.)

ooc: im guessing that theres more than one school in the town, perhaps one of them is a rival school or something...

I'd say there are two high schools. But we'll all go to the same one. And high school is four years. Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior. That ok with everyone???? As for the name of the school just pick something. I put Copperfox in charge of picking a name.

is the other one a "rival school" to the one that our characters are going to?

If we name the TOWN, the high schools can be Such-and-such East and West. Possible town names include:

Haroldsville

Darrenville

Blandersburg

Ruddy Creek

Smoky Lake

Longstreet Grove (for the Confederate general--or he could give his name to ONE school)

I like Smoky Lake.

It can't be directly ON the seacoast if it has a separate lake; but it can still be within an easy drive of the sea. Now, in honor of my SECOND deceased wife, who went to the "East High" of our town, can we say we are students at Smoky Lake East?

maria came back to jennifer, saying, "you can stop working now, thanks for your help, jen."

"are you sure?" jen asked maria.

maria nodded and went to go help a customer.

"I'm going to Smokey Lake East." Jason told Jennifer. "How about you?"

OOC:

Smokey Lake East sounds like blue and gray for the school colors to me. Smokey Lake West can be green and gray, or red and gray.
