" Yeah, it's a long story but we fine I'm taking him to see a movie to night when he comes home from church," she told him, watching him eat his soup " How is it?," she asked.

OOC: For all those people who DON'T pay enough attention to past entries on a roleplay thread: the volunteers' lunch is NOT very close to the church, it's in the "Pansit" at a strip mall at least half a mile from the church. Erin WAS within a hundred FEET of the location when she met Alipang, but of course she had to take her pet-supply purchases home.

"He's in here." Summer said leading the way to her father's room. "Daddy. Grant's here." She said walking over to his chair. "Grant this is my father." She motioned him over.

{N-Fan had to step away, and I'm sure she won't mind my doing this to fill in...}

Summer's father nodded. "He tells....good jokes....You sing?"

"I'll go ahead and sing a song I've written called "Ballad of Grace", which happens to be the first song I've written" said Grant as he strummed his guitar to the tune of the song.

Chilena was still with Dan when she was texting her brother

Al I'm picking you up soon I hope you are ready :]

OOC: Hannah, Alipang's response to that message depends on what time of day you are imagining Chilena sending it. The depiction of the meeting at the restaurant has not by any stretch gotten beyond 1:00 p.m. at an absolute maximum. Give at least a little more time for anyone else to post who wants to post something at the meeting; then I'll happily jump forward in time to where Chilena picks up her brother.

================================

Mr. Kramer got word back from the sheriff's department on the license numbers he had received and passed along. The one for the Jakekens, provided by Brendan, showed nothing out of order. The one provided by Alipang led to a petty hoodlum named Robby Lang; a tail would now be placed on him.

And then Kramer had to tell Quinn more about Mommy's desertion.

Erin entered the Pansit and looked around. she recognized a few people, and almost right away she spotted Alipang, whom she had previously ran into(literally). Sitting in a chair nearby, she waved hello to him.

Pastor Stetzer knew who Erin was, and vacated his own chair to wave Erin in closer. "Erin, have you eaten? You understand it's free, right? Come on and tell everyone your little 'specialty.' "

" I like cooking for my brother all the time," she told him, pulling out a box of cookies " Oh, this is for you to," she told him.

Erin got up and smiled at the other volunteers. she wasn't particularly comfortable with speaking in front of a group of people, but she took a deep breath. "Well," she started, "most of you know that I have a regular zoo at my house; birds, rodents, reptiles, dogs, cats... And I thought I'd bring my favorite pet of them all, my 4 foot long rosy boa, Sky. He is especially tame, and I thought that the children would love to hold him, since not many kids get to be in contact with snakes on a regular basis. I would let the kids come up and interact with him, and also ask me questions to their hearts desire. Pastor Steltzer has already approved of this idea, and I thank you all for listening." Erin sat back down.
