Alipang was fully submerged in thoughts of Kim Tisdale the whole time Chilena was inside (though he still had every intention of seeing Dan himself on Sunday).
He was riding on a friendly giant boa constrictor, in pursuit of a small army of huge mutated rats which had kidnapped Kim, and were going to force her to open the food-storage room at the Pansit Paradise for them to plunder. When they had almost overtaken the beasts, Alipang told the snake to keep going, while he dismounted and took to the trees like Tarzan. Swinging and leaping from branch to branch, tree to tree, he _passed_ the rat army, got ahead of them--and with perfect timing, dropped to the ground as the giant boa was attacking the rats from the rear. Armed with a spear, Tarzalipang slew the rats who were holding Kim captive, _before_ she could turn into Xena and make him look useless by taking care of everything herself. Effortlessly lifting her into the tree he had dropped from, he plunged back into action, killing another six or seven giant rats before his reptilian ally had consumed all the others.
