While Jason seemed to be fumbling for an answer, Alipang spoke past him to Chilena: "Thanks for the thought, sweets, and normally I'd enjoy getting to know your boyfriend better; but right now, it would only be _harder _to sleep away from home; I would be imagining all of you in trouble with me not there to help you."

" But you need to sleep Al I been waking up hearing you scream all the time," she told him, with a frown " Ok I'll be right here," she told Dan.

"I don't need a sermon, Al." Jason muttered, "and right now, I...I'm not shutting you out." He glanced at Chilena, and glanced down. Everyone seemed to be staring at him. "You don't get it." He said softly and shoved his hands deep into the pockets of his rumpled jeans. "I don't know. I'm just having a bad day."

Kim walked up to the group of kids, "Hey Al, I'll start work tomorrow, just ugh let you know, Hi," she said to the others.

Dan walked up to his locker, entering in his combination, when someone tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around, and was immediately pushed down by a kid twice his size.

"Are you dating that Filipino kid's sister?" he demanded.

ooc: gtg, dinner, be back soon.

OOC: Nightfire, do you _want_ Alipang to show up? He very reasonably could.

No one present, unless it were Kim herself, could fail to notice with what stunned adoration Alipang gawked at the girl of his dreams--indeed, the girl who was THE cause why he even HAD any such dreams.

Sorry, Nightfire, I _can't_ let this pass by now. Alipang's instincts where his sisters are concerned are too strong for him _not_ to show up here.

"Hey, now I see why the drugstore was all out of ugly pills: _this_ dude ate them all!" Alipang's coldly challenging tone was clear for everyone to hear in a hundred-yard radius. When the big bully faced him, Alipang added:

"Of course, for your body to hold that many ugly pills, the guts had to be dumped out first. I know _you_ don't have any, because you didn't come looking for me. I'm not hard to find...unless I choose to be. But we should have our discussion after school, because you need some education in here before I give you my kind of education. You'll need to be able to spell your name and address on the hospital admission forms."

Kim stood in between him and the bully, "Don't make things worse Al," she said looking directly in his eyes like a mother hen to her chick, "fighting gets you expelled remember?"

This was the first time Alipang had ever looked at Kim _without_ a worshipful expression. The look he gave her was not at all hostile to her, but it was businesslike--more adult-looking than she had yet seen on him.

"Kim, I'm _not_ fighting him _here;_ but I'm letting him know I'm very available to him later, provided he has the backbone to try hitting from in front instead of behind."

"You start something back and he'll just keep going. You cant change his racist mind, teaching him a lesson will only make him want more lessons. It's best to walk away...what would Jesus have done? Even if it was his sister's honor on the line?" She knew the answer to this, and wondered if he did, "his kind of Chilvary didn't envolve intemidating words and drawn fists you know."

Alipang pointed ominously at the bully--who was no bigger than dozens of other boys he had put away easily on the streets--and something in his gesture stilled the totally unoriginal filthy language that was beginning to flow from the larger boy's leering mouth. "HE should have stopped before he laid hands on our friend! But I tell you what, Mr. World Champion of Ugly; since you are so UN-wanted by any girl alive that you have to ask the girls on MY side to protect you, I'll show consideration to _them;_ if you apologize to my friend you pushed, and keep out of our way from now on, I _won't_ knock your head down inside your stomach."

(ooc we'll just do this again)
