"Kim, remind me to tell you someday how my birth sister Esperanza died." The next instant, in a darting movement, he was past Kim and closer to the bully. "I don't think I heard your apology clearly; do you mind repeating it?"

"I'm _sorry_ that your friend is a _________ , your sister is a _________ , and your girlfriend is a _________ ," the big punk sneered; but then he decided to withdraw for the moment.

Alipang swung back toward Kim, his voice instantly softer. "I've read the New Testament too; but there's more to what it teaches, what the _whole_ Bible teaches, than simply letting everyone do everything they like."

"Karma isn't in the Bible, but "What you sow you will also reap" is. He'll get his karma back, dont worry. Just walk away..." she turned to the bully, "just to clarify we're only friends," she gave a pert smile and cocked her head in a smug way. She knew it drove people mad when she began to show signs of being coy.
 
Jason stepped up next to Alipang. "Oh, come on!" He said tiredly. "This kid doesn't need a mouth lecture, he needs a good..." He didn't let himself finish, he ran up and kicked the other kid in the stomach. "...beating." While the kid doubled over, Jason jumped on him and started delivering blows left and right.

OOC: Keep in mind, Jason isn't very well-trained, but he HAS done some street fighting. Feel free to pull him off, or take over, I didn't mean to take over completely. ;)
 
OOC: Alipang was trying to get Jason to talk to him when a distraction arose: the bully invented by Nightfire assaulting Dan. Alipang could not ignore this, especially with his sister Chilena potentially in harm's way. And now, for THE FIRST time in her career, Dayhawk has decided to turn pacifist.

Annoyed, and not wanting Al's friend to get in trouble, Kim took hold of Jason's shirt and yanked him off "Are you nuts? Quit it!"
 
Flurries of posting do cause confusion; Kim, I was closer to the bully than you were

To try to reconcile the contradiction, I was helping Dan to his feet or something like that when Jason made his attack.

Completely ignoring Kim for the moment (something Alipang had not thought he could do):

"Dan! Are you okay? Did he punch you?"
 
Seeing that Dan seemed okay, Alipang stood near the toppled bully (but on guard against a leg-sweep) and held out a hand. "Can I help you up? It wasn't my plan for you to be blindsided; if I fight you, you'll know it's coming."
 
Chilena ran out of the school " Jason!?," she asked, running to a tree were she found Jason " Jas," she said, siding down next to him.

The bully accepted Alipang's hand and got up. Mr. Warner, the Vice Principal, was just coming into view. He was truthfully told by the bully (whom Warner turned out to know by the nickname of Rocknose) and by Alipang, that they had not been fighting.

"Another time for us," Rocknose told Alipang almost cordially when Warner moved on.

 
Jason sat cross-legged against the tree, and stared at Chilena. "Hi." He said quietly.

OOC: Lol! Sorry, CF, my character is changing so fast, it's getting even me dizzy.
 
OOC: Dayhawk, I'm glad you got into the action! But please remember to ask Alipang at some point what happened to his birth sister Esperanza.
 
"I don't know anymore." Jason said truthfully. He hadn't slept in a while, and he was just too tired to go on. "I've gotten in the middle of something, and I think I'm too deep to get out. I need a vacation." He barely knew what he was saying. What he DID know, was that there was a comfortable, curvey, wall of bark at his back. A nice wind blew his black hair out of his eyes, and he was nodding ever-so-slightly. He felt the pounding in his head deminish. All the drugs...the alchahol...it had all happened so fast. Alipang's face still hovered in his mind, the hurt in his eyes. Jason knew Alipang was tougher than any other he'd met, but he knew him well enough to see that he'd made more of a negative impact on him than he wanted.
