"Nope. But I'm sure theres a workable time after school". Brendan lead Jen into the History classroom, and sat down a few minutes before the bell.
 
" I don't something in the school though," she told him, then she spoted a blue car in the parking lot " My car!," she told him, pulling him with her " I guess my dad brought it here," she told him, with huge smile on her face.

Jen took out a pen and began doodling again in her notebook. She had become accustomed to drawing in them.
 
The cop-like part of Alipang's mind reviewed his knowledge of the not-very-large troublemaker population of Smoky Lake. Homeschooling had not made him so ignorant of the world as people tended to think it would. But he didn't know this Rocknose. Yet Mr. Warner had acted as if Rocknose had a right to be here, and Warner was reputedly not such a worshipper of delinquents as Mrs. Lewiston....

Of course! The Special Ed section that Leopard Man was in! Now Alipang remembered hearing: East High handled Special Ed for both Smoky Hill high schools. Rocknose must be someone who otherwise would be at West. If he was in on things with Leopard Man--that might also mean a connection to the punks who lay for him last night.

Maybe also a link to the punks in Shilohsville who were ruining Jason.
