Jen gasped and turned around, then sighed when she saw it was Brendan. "You almost gave me a heart attack." she joked.

"Ok remind me, in the future I won't call to you using your name. I'll use something like.. hey.. Ruth. Or something." Brendan laughed.

Jason almost slapped her hand away, almost yelled; "I don't want pity!" He really didn't. He just wanted to erase the past week, he didn't even want to apologize for any of it, just wake up the next day and it would be all forgiven, washed away, like it never happened. However, Chilena had hit just the right spot on his back, it was making his head drop lower. So...tired...... ...Jason settled for saying nothing and ending in a soft snore.

Jen laughed and closed her locker behind her. "That's okay, I just wasn't expecting it. And I don't plan on changing my name anytime soon."

"Good cause I like the name Jen. You wouldn't be Jen if you changed your name" he reached for her hand.

Kaitlyn Katon walked the halls of Smokey Lake High. She had been there every day, she'd just been in the shadows, letting the people pass her by.
OOC: I suddenly have to do something important in RL, see ya guys!!! :(

Alipang, meanwhile, had decided that the BEST thing he could do right now to cool the situation would be to go to class. But it rankled him the way Kim had treated him--even MORE like a baby than he had already thought of her as regarding him. Had she not even noticed that he had ALREADY said he wouldn't fight Rocknose in school?

Did she think he had become a fighter because he was too stupid for anything else? This, with HIS trigonometry notes helping HER to study? But she had no way of knowing his earlier history...no way of knowing how he had fought for his life, not childish pride but life itself, starting at age eight. The young animals in the slum jungle could not be talked out of attacking by a sweet-sounding selective mix of Christianity and Hinduism; you either fought them, or fled from them, and the second wasn't always possible. He guessed from her talk that Kim thought he didn't know about the pagan doctrine of reincarnational karma; but he did, directly from actual Hindus. He had actually read some of the Upanishads--but found them completely incompatible with his faith in Christ.

Faith in Christ! Was Kim, as a Christian, going to be a female version of Grant--using a Biblical understanding which was NOT complete ENOUGH, to oversimplify the gospel into a paralysis ray that only restrained the good and let the evil do as they liked?

Alipang seldom suffered with headaches; but now he had an enormous one. Life was so unfair sometimes! He didn't want to be angry at Kim, and he WASN'T angry at her for not being attracted to him, because he had never considered that possible anyway; but if she was going to try to make him feel false guilt for defending those he loved....

He remembered that he had already resolved to be impersonal with her when they worked at the restaurant. That seemed like an even better idea now.

ooc: Combined that makes 4.

ic: "Is there like a movie theater around here? or bowling alley? Somewhere we can have fun?" asked Brendan.

ooc: :p

ic: "Well, there are a couple of theatres... I'm not sure about the bowling alley, the last time I was at the one around here was last year." Jen said.
"Are there any good movies out?"

She gentle picking Jason up then put him down " Come on lets go to class," she told him, getting up

Dan got up as well, then checked his watch. "We have five minutes."
