I Wonder who could play the Green Witch??

Why? Would you prefer a name that you don't like, or mass confusion on the part of the audience who has never read the book?

They gave her a name because of those people. To me, that's not something to get upset about because those OTHER people will be the ones that you have to convince to like the film; not us.

I just think there is an easy way to work around actually giving her a name. They could have wrote the character with no name very easily.

That's because you're a book fan. Most people don't see it that way, book fans or not.

Because of Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, Narnia CAN NOT make a mistake like that. And people see not naming a character as a mistake. Narnia's standing in the film industry is fragile enough without book purists getting mad about one change like a name.

Giving Lilliandil a name made sense, especially since she has an expanded role in the movie. Besides, I think Lilliandil is a very pretty name. They could have done a lot worse.

Klara issova :) She is very pretty :)

They can't use her. Not only is she wrong for the role, but she already played the Hag in Prince Caspian.

Tell me why she is wrong for the role. And then explain why they can't use her again- it's not like anyone would recognize her, since the hag was so hideous and covered in prosthetics. Shane Rangi played numerous costumed parts in the same movie!

I don't necessarily think she's just right, but it's not fair for you to dismiss her immediately. If you want to suggest someone, then you need to let others suggest people too.

So...I guess if you had a choice between a pretty, talented actress, and an air-headed gorgeous supermodel-type, you'd go with the latter?

I agree with MissReep. Just because she had a role in PC doesn't dismiss her completely. I had to imdb her name to find out what she played in PC, and honestly, it's no big deal.

Really, can we be any shallower on this thread?

I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Besides, if you want the lady to be BEAUTIFUL, then she has to be DIFFERENT! If she just looks like a million other dark-haired super-models, there won't be anything special about her!

So far the suggestions I made dont look like millions of other girls. Though while we are on the topic, here is another one:

Taylor Cole

Okay, SHE is actually beautiful. Wow, I'm actually impressed. She has a unique look to her.

Taylor is up for the role of Wonder Woman on a TV series, though she hasnt been in much. She is good looking enough though, which is a big factor in The Lady of the Green Kirtle.

But good looking is not the most important. If she can't act, she'll ruin that part, regardless of her looks. I'd rather have someone plain but amazingly talented in the part than someone lovely but unable to perform.
