Introduction Thread II

Good Reasons

There we go thanks so much for your help... Kinda annoying but I understand the reasons (security and all, and they are very good reasons)...

Icewolfer, I'm glad you didn't give up. Now let me urge you to spend some time in Professor's Writing Club, where there is a rich variety of poetry and fiction.

You know how the winters arrive and depart;
Each one leaves a bit more old age in my heart.
But rise from your bed, and we'll dance all the same;
The tree of remembrance will tell me your name.

That's where I've been trying to access actually I have many ideas I want to share there... I have a whole idea which may be extremely controversial to many concerning Charn.

A former member who was called LifeMaiden wrote a novel about Jadis growing up on Charn (long lost by now); so people may not be shocked by your also speculating about Charn.

I have many ideas, and actually C.S. Lewis left many things and clues to pick up on about Charn. I also have many ideas to reference it to the Bible too... Just excited, I'm sure others have made renditions. But, I just love the many ideas that are possible. :D

Welcome Icewolfer! It is good to see new members joining at a site which has been active for so many years now. If you have questions, simply ask one of the mods. They are there to help you out and won't bite :D:p

Hello everyone! :)
I'm (as you can see) Chucklenuts, but you may call me Chuck or Chuckle, if you please. I've just started reading the books, and I'm hoping to be able to discuss them with everyone on here! :)

Finland, eh? I have wished I could meet someone from Finland! Sibelius is one of my favorite composers. And yes, you can get plenty of discussion about Narnia here.

Oh really? How flattering! I'll try to be the best Finn for you guys, hehe :D

Welcome! It seems we're both new. I've already read all 7 of the books, and I think you're gonna love them. :)

Oh, I'm sure of that! I've loved them this far, and they just seem to get better!

Hello

hey
I'm new here at the forum.
I'm fifteen, I'm Brazilian, and I've been a Narnia fan since my father first told me the story. My favorite movie is LW&W, and I love Georgie Henley.
Well, I love playing and writing songs. I play guitar, piano, bass and drums.

That's it I guess :D

Hello Rebeca. Welcome to the forums. I hope you like it here. Have you read the books also?

Rebeca, you will find that many members here have written their own original Narnia stories--which is something that Mr. Lewis himself encouraged his young readers to do. Some of the fan fiction is in a joking mood, but most of it is a straight attempt to write in the Narnian spirit. You might especially like the stories by Evening Star, one of our top Moderators. He has imagined a Narnian town called Byron-On-Wells, and populated it with charming and lifelike Talking Beast characters, all of whom are as well adjusted to human-like activities as the Beavers in "Lion/Witch/Wardrobe."
