Introduction Thread II

So, um, hello! New here.

I'm forbearne. I don't put my real name online so I usually go by my username, or, if you want, Freya (yeah, huge Merlin fan :p).

So, let's see, about me. Well, I grew up reading the first two Chronicles Of Narnia books, and eventually read the others and saw the films. The Magician's Nephew is my favorite hands down, and Edmund is my favorite character. Other than Narnia, I'm into Lord Of the Rings (films), Merlin (of course), Doctor Who (Classic!Who and New!Who except the 11th Doctor), The Hunger Games (books and film), Smallville (mostly the first few seasons but I adore Oliver Queen and he kept me watching the whole series), and The X-Files (my fandom from when I was a kid, and I still love Fox Mulder <3).

I'm have two cats and they're my babies. I love them to tiny furry pieces. Nikki is two, grey, and super tiny, and Sir Doyle is a year and huge. He was a backyard rescue who went from being way underweight and sickly (the mother cat abandoned him and I bottle fed him) to a bit on the overweight side. lol. He's well loved, though.

I'm Jewish (any other Jewish fans out there?), and I guess that's basically everything important.

So, hello! :p

Yay! Freya! I will now commence calling you that :D

Glad to have another refined nerd like yourself join. Sounds like you have a lot in common with the regular members here. So, feel free (we encourage it) to make yourself at home and join in our many ramblings.

I am not Jewish... But Jewish people are awesome! :D

Oh, and my name is Ferny, by the way (also not my real name... but ya know...)

:D

Hello, forbearne. Welcome to the forums. I hope you enjoy your time here as much as I am so far.

The Magician's Nephew is an adorable book. I loved Polly and Diggory and the whole story of creation as Lewis depicted it.

Edmund is my favorite character, too. His journey is very moving and incredible to read.

It sounds like you are into a lot of other great fandoms, too:D

Your cats have awesome names, and it is really nice of you to take in an abandoned kitty. (Aslan would be proud.)

I'm not Jewish, but I'm sure there should be another Jewish Narnia fan on here somewhere. If not you can get a medal for being the first one:D

Hehe, thank you! :D :p I love your icon, btw. <3

I'm happy to welcome a new member. It makes me feel like an old hat when really I'm a newcomer myself, lol.

Thanks for the compliment about the icon. I love how Georgie's smile is exactly like I pictured Lucy's so I knew I had to have it for my avatar:D

So, um, hello! New here.

If you ever wade through my first "Alipang Havens" novel, and then tackle the even-longer sequel, you'll discover a minor character named Freya Vanaheim.

Hello to all new members, I think the only new one I haven't was forbearne. Hello to you then. :D welcome to the great place on the internet!

hmmm they must not have completely activated your account yet, Freya... It won't let me go to your profile to leave a note...

Hello! I recently joined and I can't wait to get started posting here. I'm relatively new to the Narnia fandom, so there might be a few things about the later books I don't understand. I'll try my best to avoid reading spoilers! :D

Anyway, this site looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. I'm already glad I joined. :)
