Yeah really. As an Irish American I cannot help but love Corned Beef and Cabage, did you guys know that that is not a Traditional Irish dish, but rather became popular with Irish immigrants who came to this country and found that beef was cheeper than mutton.

Thats a lot of uninteresting pages :)
Yeah it is, and there were question to answer in each chapter.

I love corned beef, not cabage. :p

Sure I'll eat corned beef, just not the cabage :)
I'm not big with that, nor am I big on potatoes, I only eat freedom fries :D (and sweet potatoes)

lol, I'm part Irish (Only 25%), but I LOVE cabage, and I really don't like corned beef much..... guess that's my German part taking over again:rolleyes:

My dad told me something intersting today (he's Scotish and his day was born in Scotland). He told me that the Scotish and Irish are not the same(even thought Scotland was settled by the Irish) and that if you go to Scotland and say they are you wont be leaving Scotland. Apperanly the Scotish dont like the Irish

I should've posted the poll as a Gaelic Heritage, that should cover that whole area. Well, I have to honestly say, I really like the Scottish, I mean c'mon, Braveheart? But I'm sorry, Stephen (from the movie) only re-affirmed that the Irish are cooler
: P

Are mods allowed to re-do a Poll, say:

- Full Irish:
- Part Irish:
- Other Gaelic Nationality:

Well I could have actually told you that Tess, my grandmother dislikes the Irish. The Scotch don't like them at all, but that was not always the attitude. There is undeniable evidence that there is more Irish in the scotch then any would like to admit.

Well, just dont say that to a Scottish person.

so why the animosity between the two? They have more in common then they'd like to admit, say a feeling of anger towards the British?

I don't think Oxford Girl twas saying you didn't know that, I think she was just trying to be humourously helpful :) (if humourously is a word)

Awesome. *shifts eyes* We should be on the look out for an attack from the spelling police. But don't worry, I got the IRA to back us up.

And FaunFan has the Boondock Saints. So we're good

**as confirmed by Oxford Girl, the word is a real one. We no longer have to anticipate a raid from the Speeling Polis**

Ok, as I'm sure FaunFan would put it, and Me too, as possiblely one of the greatest Irish/American movie.

Check back a few posts, you'll find a link to a site where you can see the movie for free (no download).
