As first mate of our grand ship (For the narnian sea have never fear such a ship) I am here to announce that arrr great pirates are greatly compromised in practicing at sharpening our skills. We are not as weak as ye think we are. So i say be aware! for preparing will not be enough for ye. there will come the day or night where we will cease this city and yer people will experience horror as ye never imagined before.

LadyEm ducks behind stone embattlement as a cannon shot comes out of the pirate ship, and waits until she hears a distant crash before glancing around her, noting that the Narnian cannons are fired back in return, and smiles with satisfaction.
Then, spotting Prince of the West down the top of the wall, moves quickly and carefully down towards him, an eye cast out upon the pirate ship.

"It seems the sluggish pirates have finally awoken, Good Prince."
 
Well done machia well done!!! ye are a fine pirate!! Let us turn around arr ship before their cannons reaches us!
 
ARRRR!!! I would say we stand and fight Arrrr!!! There would appear to be two knights and two pirates online at this moment Arrrr!!!! But if ye say so.... Avast! Turn the ship hard to port!!!
 
Let us wait machia let us wait let them wonder and fear for a while for us pirates not only fight physically but we terrorrize mentally gaRRRr

Indeed, my lady. My cannoneers will be ready for them. They will be hard pressed to elevate their guns high enough to hit the top of the tower, and we can drop shot on them at will. I must alert the Parthians to make for the shoreline. They would be fools to try a landing, but we can always hope.
 
Fire!

"I think I've got them trained high enough, sir", the man knuckled his forehead.
"Very well, gunner", replied the Prince. "Fire three shots only - let's see if you can hit them from here."
"Aye, sir", the gunner said, signalling his crews. The smoking punk was set to the touchholes and the three cannon belched flame.
"Wow", said Lady Em, shaking her head. "That's quite a blast."
"Well, let's see if we hit them", the gunner said, peering out along the path of the cannon shot.
 
"Near miss! Good shot!" cries Lady Em.
"Not good enough", growls the gunner. "Bring that barrel around a point and reload!"
"Sir, they're turning to port!" cried a crewman.
"As I hoped they would..." said the gunner as the crew rammed home new charges of powder.
 
As the cannon shot flies through the sails, LadyEm leans forward interest. "Methinks you almost had them, cannoneers! Fire once again, lest they turn their ship away!"
She cried as indeed, the ship's oars began to move.
 
"Sir, they seem to be extending - "
"I see them", smiled the Prince. "Sweeps! Why, I wonder? Well, their folly is our gain. Now we don't have to even hit the hull - if we even catch some of the oars, it'll wreak havoc below decks."
"Fire as you bear!" cried the gunner, and the crews set to winching the guns to aim them at the pirates.
"Gunner", asked the Prince. "Do we have any chain shot?"
 
"Fools! They must be working with short gun crews", muttered the gunner. "Everyone knows you can't row and fire at the same time!"
"We've cleared the village, haven't we?" asked the Prince.
"Yes, the word went out this morning", Lady Em assured him.
"Good. Their guns won't be able to hit us up here, unless they get a very lucky roll, but anyone down at ground level is in danger."
Sudden cheers from one of the gun crews made the Prince smile.
"A hit, sir!" cried the gunner.
 
** Twilight fires!!! IT hits the wall and two guards fall into the water** Good Job terror!!! Machia Can't ye go any faster. FASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
"We've got their range now, sir!"
"Very well, fire as you bear!" the Prince replied. "And, gunner - perhaps it's time to start heating the shot..."

*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*
 
*8QA48 climbs to where tweetsie is*** What can you see???
Tweetsie replies "I see that bloody prince signaling for arrows with fire!

*QA screams down to MAchia*** FASTER!!! FASTER!!!!! Fire is our ship's Enemy!!!!!!!!!!!!1
 
LadyEm holds onto the wall to steady herself as a canon hits somewhere below.

"Excellent shot, but methinks they've hit two of the guards below, my prince. It seems though that they need repairs on their ship..."
