"Thanks, you're not too bad yourself, especially when you're not lost and sweaty" he joked. "Well this is actually the first I've spoken to Evie in a long time. You think she's interested?" he asked forgetting all about May. "Really?"
 
Jordan rolled her eyes, "thanks, you should see my when I'm actually trying to look good." She joked. She smiled slightly, "why? Are you interested in her?"
 
"So you weren't trying today? For this party?" he asked trying to defer her question. "Wow.....thats pretty hot that you don't really try hard but still end up looking great" he replied smiling at her then searching the room for Evie.
 
"You really think I look great? Maybe I shouldn't try to look good then," she joked. She looked around and saw Evie. "She's talking to Kylie."
 
"I'm fine. But I just met this girl and she's already saying she doesn't like me. Not exactly a normal thing for me," Evie said, setting the empty glass on a nearby table.

"I don't know what you're talking about" he replied but then added "is it that obvious?" he asked before May walked up to them.

"Why don't you like Evie?" he asked her straight forwardly but in a nice manner.
 
"Yes," Jordan whispered in his ear, "I'll be right back." She walked a little ways away and looked at teh garden to give May and NAte some space.
 
Nate watched Jordan walk away before turning back to May. He wandered if Evie knew he liked her if it was that obvious to Jordan.
"Well?"
